Remember how great that worked out against you last game?

Jun-23-07  Tactic101: Nope. Still running at a healthy 126 pages.

Tactic's at 2 to go. Make or break. Do or Die. Can he achieve the impossible?

BTW, in a Jinx situation the second poster has to pay the first a <Mr. Pibb Brand Soda>.

It's the law!

Jun-23-07  samikd: hey <tactic>, I just saw in your profile that you are friend of Parimarjan Negi's. Are you 2 of same age ? You are another child wonderkid/child prodigy ? (sigh.. these people give me so much inferiority complex ). Anyway thats cool. How is he like ? Do you play with him ? is he still taking lessons from Nigel Short ?

jessicafischerqueen: Ooh I can't keep my eyes open anymore.

you guys feel free to keep partying here till <Doormouse>.

I guess I'll have to replay the BIG GAME when I wake up.

good night everyone!!!

Jun-23-07  Tactic101: No, of course not. Parimarjan and I are just good friends. I'm not a prodigy of any sorts, of course: just another guy who loves chess. He does NOT coach me (he's out of school for much of the time, for obvious reasons).

Yeah, I played with him. Once in a simul. I was the last guy to go down in a three hour struggle. It was quite fun.

Parimarjan is honestly one of the nicest persons I've ever met. Very humble and very social. He's practically everyone's friend. Wouldn't know he's a GM by sight. In short, he's a great person.

I think he still is coached by Nigel Short. Another is Vishal Sareen and some Russian guy. Earlier, he was coached by GB Joshi, who's been coaching my friend Rishi (rated 1956) for many years now.

So there's no need to bring out Bobby Fischer, if you can find him, that is.

Jun-23-07  brankat: Almost 3:30. The game starts at six. Two hours snooze time, then back to action!
Jun-23-07  achieve: The Queen leaves, the Kat snoozes..
All is quiet in Forum-land

I'll be as careful as possible on my way out..
