jessicafischerqueen: Your over there regimen sounds salubrious! Interestingly, in Canada we save time by spelling "music and poker" as "moker." Initially we spelled it "poomus" but that sounded a little too declasse, even for us...

Jun-26-07  Tactic101: Ah, I see through your idea now. I questioned myself for two reasons: A: You obviously are full of trickery and you're blood thirsty for attack and B: You have Baba chess so you probably have already made this line before.

I first thought Qxb7 wins a pawn for nothing, but I think this would be a very risky game now. I see Qxb7, Rfb8, Qc7 (forced), Rc8, Qa5, and Rab8. The attack is coming. Part of the reason I'll have difficulty defending is because your knight prevents moves like Rd2. After this sequence, white can't defend easily. You may now double on the b-file, with Rb5, consistently hunting my queen down. I can't do much to stop you here.

I first posted Qxb7, thinking that you didn't have much, but now, I think VERY much otherwise. It is possible that you might even be able to sacrifice on c3. I want to keep going, thank you. Not be beleagured with the difficulty of defending. I can't develop my rooks and start to consolidate my pawn.

So, I'm sorry, but you'll not get your chance for brilliance. Not now anyway. I'll simply develop with the move Nfe5. This has dual purposes too.

Jun-26-07  Ragh: Dear jess, I didn't knew that monkey-like predictions can win silver medals. You have a lucky penny eh? hahaha. But, its too late for you to beat me in the prediction contest anyway.

jessicafischerqueen: <Tactic> Yep I wouldn't take the <pawn> either, obviously, or I wouldn't have offered it. <tactic>, who would ever offer a pawn in correspondence play without planning out the advantage before offering it? Especially since I actually ANNOUNCED it was a gambit to you as well. Wheee!

Good use of the <JFQ> "take back a move while you're not wiped off the board yet" function too!

Heh.

jessicafischerqueen: <ragh!> no idea what you're referring to. You may be thinking of <insane oldee batte>, maybe?

Who's move is it? I've forgotten!!

jessicafischerqueen: <Re8>??? Is that move legal? I'm still asleep here.
Jun-26-07  Ragh: Hehe.. how come you woke up before noon today.
After looking at the simul you have been running here, people scared to death to play in the <battle of sexes> match,

jessicafischerqueen: It's not a <camel>, cuz it's Correspondence without a time limit on moves. Plus check the games record, I have only beaten two people rated higher than me, most I beat were rated lower than 13-1400, some a lot lower. I suspect <Tactic> is a stronger player than me. Ratings mean a lot!!

I got a appointment with my <chess tutor> soon.

Jun-26-07  Ragh: Whatever. I still think its a simul.

jessicafischerqueen: Yeesh in a <camel> you rush from table to table with no time at all to think of your next move! I can't even manage ONE game with a clock, let alone more.
Jun-26-07  Ragh: Nope. You are yet to put up a strong argument for it not being a simul.

Any <unsolved mysteries> left?

There's still the one I"m not allowed to talk about.

There is an active sockpuppet from a VERY high-profile member you have not identified.

In fact, I believe I'm the only one who has so far.

jessicafischerqueen: Hey! I just deduced that you must live in <Raghleigh>, North Carolina!

Or is it West Carolina? I can never remember.

Jun-26-07  Ragh: Futile attempts, I say. You're not Sherlock.
Jun-26-07  Ragh: Washington DC suburbs would have been a closer answer.

Weird eh?
