jessicafischerqueen: Your over there regimen sounds salubrious! Interestingly, in Canada we save time by spelling "music and poker" as "moker." Initially we spelled it "poomus" but that sounded a little too declasse, even for us...

Why not to infinity? (a nice round number)

Jul-15-07  Open Defence: <Why not to infinity? (a nice round number)? Infinity ? a round number ? thats odd ;-p
Jul-15-07  Eyal: <Infinity? a round number?> Well, at least in comparison with Infinity plus one...
Jul-15-07  Open Defence: you guys are moving very quickly.... hmmmm as long as the moves are <expected> ;-p

btw .... I am enjoying the game as no doubt you guys are.. brilliant.. about 10 years ago if I was told I would be playing chess with two Canadians and an Israeli I would never have believed it.. the wonders of the internet...

would you guys be upto another game with the colours switched so it would be like a match ? though the match could go on until the end of this year!!!

Jul-15-07  hitman84: I thought infinity was even - a well laid eight.
Jul-15-07  Open Defence: <themadhair> might know.... there are a fair number of mathematicians at this site.... <hitman> are you one ? Engineer right ?
Jul-15-07  hitman84: Mathematicians on the site as far as I know :

<themadhair>, <TIMER>, <azaris>, <Domdaniel> and many more..

<Engineer right ?>Yes and a mathemagician ;)

Jul-15-07  Dr.Lecter: <jess> After noon?! Geez, jess, when are you gonna study chess with that kind of schedule?

Of course, we can always pray to God that he changes to 30 hour a day schedule, but that would throw all the hard laborers off. No offense intended to all the hard laborers out there.

And yes, there are worse addictions. One is being addicted to coming to CG. The other is being addicted to kibitzing. Yet another is breathing, but I'm kind of glad I have that addiction.

Anyways, gotta go sleep now. Toodles.

Lecter, yoga master, who once confused yoga with yoda. <sry, <lostemperor>>

jessicafischerqueen: Hey! <anomie>, a word coined by <Durkheim>, has no obvious logical connection to the concept of <infinity>.

It means, in fullest translation, <not knowing what to do anymore in society because they have electricity and streetcars and women's bum magazines all over the place instead of farms>

Plus, <Infinity> cannot be comprehended by the human mind, which is perhaps the only thing interesting about it.

However, <Yoda> CAN comprehend it.

So I think we should all keep our eyelids open with toothpicks and watch all 600 <star wars movies> until we choke.

And they say I "don't know math"!!

Insane Olde Batte
Oops what a giveaway!

Jul-15-07  WBP: <Deffi> <<Why not to infinity? (a nice round number)? Infinity ? a round number ? thats odd ;-p> Wouldn't it make it even, since round numbers are even?

<Jess> Thanks for the note in my house. No, we're going to Bamnphaloosa this coming Saturday. First two nights are in Calgary, then two nights at lake Louise, Two at Bamnphfphf, and one last one at Calgary (the Calgary part is part of the package--we won this trip in a raffle); certainly couldn't afford it otherwise. Hell, I need to save my money for all the new sock puppets I'm envisaging).

(Wasn't Insane Old Batte put out to pasture? Is this stopping smoking thing really doing it for you?)

Domdaniel: The numbers *still* add up to nothing.
Jul-15-07  Ragh: <Hell, I need to save my money for all the new sock puppets I'm envisaging> <Bill> You already have four premium sockpuppets, not counting the original one. By any chance, are you planning on organizing a huge puppet show here on CG with all of your sockpuppets as characters in it and you as the protagonist.
Jul-15-07  WBP: <Ragh> <<Bill> You already have four premium sockpuppets, not counting the original one.> How did you know that I--Bill <WBP>--am a sock puppet, the "origianl one"? Your detective work has reached a new zenith! But here's your real problem: whose sock puppet AM I???? Ponder THAT!!!

(Hahahahahaha!)

<By any chance, are you planning on organizing a huge puppet show here on CG with all of your sockpuppets as characters in it and you as the protagonist.> Ragh! How or why would I do something like that!

Jul-15-07  Dr.Lecter: <bill> uh... your wife's?

Are you married?

Am I getting too personal here?

If I am, forget that I ever posted this kibitz.

Jul-15-07  Blako: <hair Dr.> You am on right track. But maybe you think someone already on site: <Jess> maybe, <Eyal> maybe>, <Dom> maybe.

Me do not am know the answer, for me am no longer sock puppet. Me am now autonomous being.

Jul-15-07  Red October: <Blako> maybe the sock fumes got to you.. we will never be free as long as we work for our capitalist masters... REVOLT!!!! ANARCHY!!!!
Jul-15-07  Blako: <Red October> <we will never be free as long as we work for our capitalist masters...> Me already free. Me autonomous being. Me now enjoy all the benefits therein.

Me think you am need to read Nietzsche. He help with self-actualization. Then you am free. <seeSee> read Leibnitz; this am why he a loser.

Jul-15-07  Blako: <Red October> <<Blako> maybe the sock fumes got to you> Whose socks am you smelling? Why?
Jul-15-07  Red October: you tell me... your nose looks like you smelt something... maybe in the smellsmell forum ?
Jul-15-07  Red October: the sock puppets are revolting....
Jul-15-07  Ragh: Listen you both red and yellow rowdy fellows.. don't revolt.
Jul-15-07  Ragh: <Bill> I am not going to waste time by pondering over whose sockpuppet you are. You am one original guy with your distinct writing style that is unparalled on this website. Though it might be possible that you are a puppet of your wife in real life.. hehe..
Jul-15-07  Red October: <Blako> is a muppet not a puppet...
