 | | jessicafischerqueen: HEY! What about self-made WOMEN?
Or, even worse, self-made WYMYN?
Or, what about self-made HERMAPHRODITES?
Need I remind you that <SLUGS> (heh) are Hermaphrodites? Jess of the <Gender Police>, Flying Nitpicking Squad, Entertainment Division |

| Jul-16-07 | | mandar: <jess>Hey i wanna know how do u get 2 ratings in yahoo(one for white and other for black).I just saw in ur profile.,Can u pls explain?? |
|
Jul-16-07
 | | jessicafischerqueen: <mandar> you can create an unlimited number of "Yahoo IDs". I have so many I've forgotten some of them. You can even use the same password for the multiple IDs. To get a black rating you just use one ID to play only with the black pieces, and vice versa. I have an even more complicated system than that, though. I have different white/black IDs for different time controls. I have a white ID that plays only 1.d4, and one that plays only 1.e4 I also have many "practice" IDs I use for various purposes, including fun ones that only play "crazy" or "unusual" openings. Some IDs try to play defence only, while others try to attack all the time. I experiment with different styles and keep track of the results. Therefore, the ratings I list in my profile are "composite approximations" of my current playing strength with each color. |

| Jul-16-07 | | Ragh: <Jess> That process sounds like you have established a complex military system in place for all those yahoo IDs and assigned a rule for each one of those ids. I always wondered how chess masters prepare over the internet. <<mandar> you can create an unlimited number of "Yahoo IDs".> And proudly become a part of global spamming conspiracy. |

Jul-16-07
 | | jessicafischerqueen: <Mandar> good grief!! Your Yahoo ID name looks awfully familiar. It's possible we have already played before!! Sure, I'd be happy to play you a game on Yahoo, but I play 10 minutes a move time control, just to let you know. Sometimes the games are over quickly, sometimes an hour, sometimes 2 hours... I take my time with my moves but I don't go superslow either. Email me or post in here, suggesting a time and a Yahoo room. I can get into any room, even if it's full, with the "back door" website. So can you, because.... Here it is:
http://www.alleykatzden.com/yahoo/c...
Just click on this link and then an array of Yahoo rooms will come on the screen, just click the room you want to go in. You can get in no matter how full the room is. It's 2:15 PST right now, I'm off to rent some movies. We can play either tonight or sometime tomorrow, depending on your time zone. My email address is at the top of my Profile. |

 | | jessicafischerqueen: Heh <Batchimeg> is the woman of the future. And to think I found her by accident!
Chessbase had an article on the French with white playing h4. So I plugged the position into the OE, and <BATCHIMEG> came up. I thought her name was so funny sounding, she became my favorite player on that basis alone!! Heh.
Then I realized that I had already read about her in a fine book called <The Chess Artist>, one of the protagonists in this book is a American IM who is Internet friends with <Batchimeg>. But I forgot about this till after I rediscovered her!! |

 | | jessicafischerqueen: Ok then I will.
I never thought that joining an "online gaming" community would entail so much bloody homework, though. BTW <MannBee> you might want to "swoop to the rescue" in <Dom's> forum, I think some people were slighting "your people" there earlier. |
