jessicafischerqueen: Your over there regimen sounds salubrious! Interestingly, in Canada we save time by spelling "music and poker" as "moker." Initially we spelled it "poomus" but that sounded a little too declasse, even for us...

Thanks for all your kind support and crazed suggestions!

I will follow any order, no matter how ridiculous <Full Metal Jacket paraphrased line>

jessicafischerqueen: <Bill>!! HOW THE HELL ARE YOU?

So I take it you DIDN'T get "eaten by bear" like in the <Shagspr> play.

Jul-30-07  Eyal: <And here is <Short> "endearing" himself to the world <hispanic community>>

Well, at least I hope he did endear himself to the <Canadian Dental Medicine community>:

<I started to get discomfort just before coming to Montreal. By the second day it was really excruciating. That was when I lost like a complete idiot to Harikrishna. Then we had a free day and I went for treatment. They have very good dentists and very good equipment here. I was quite amazed at the computer graphics of my teeth.>

  jessicafischerqueen: Well, it's a MAN'S LIFE in the <Canadian Dental Association>!
Jul-30-07  Eyal: At least he's not an antidentite... I hope the CDA is somewhat vindicated now, after the mishandling of your molar.
Jul-30-07  Dr.Lecter: <jess> yes. didn't you know?
Jul-30-07  mandar: <jess>U here?
if ready to play, just come in intermidiate arena...( www.yahoo.com)
Jul-30-07  MadBishop: <jessica> Thanks for the welcome! Sorry about the l8 reply (school... need i say more) I'm almost certainly 'Clinicaly Insane' so this asylum should do me good!

It's my turn: Here's an impressive game I came across : Korchnoi vs Van der Wiel, 1987

Please forgive my ultra-enthusiastic post there. I get like that whenever I review a Korchnoi game!

Enjoy! ;-)

  jessicafischerqueen: <Doctor> no I didn't, honestly.

Congratulations though!! I will soon be meeting many of <your people>, with any luck.

Do I really have to pay them to teach them? Sounds a bit previous to me...

But when in <Korea> I'll do what I'm told.

Jul-30-07  WBP: <Jess> <So I take it you DIDN'T get "eaten by bear" like in the <Shagspr> play.> Nah, in fact, we didn't even see one, except at the Calgary zoo (two Grizzlies playfully fighting and four Black Bears looking mighty sour as they waitied to be fed). Actually, we saw only one elk, two deer, and one mountain goat (which wasn't even in the park. It was beside the highway, chowing down on something as we drove home).

However, the breathtaking scenery, the park in all its aspects, the people we met(and I mean the staffs at the respective places, not the tourists), and everything else (the colorful money!) made it a trip of a lifetime.

'Course, my very long hair, somewhat eccentric manner of dress (I'm of the Johhny Cash syndrome--mostly in black), and largish build made me a target at customs all the way around. The guy at American customs (coming back to the US) SO wanted to bust me for something; he detained us for quite a while, and asked me several questions that seemed designed to trick me or catch me up in some kind of lie.

jessicafischerqueen: Hi <Mad Bishop> thanks for coming and posting the game. I will go over it soon with my team of <top GMs> to see if it "passes muster."

BTW, if I say <Da Bishop> it means <Bishop of Blunder>.

If I say <Mad Bishop> it means you.

He got here first, so he gets to be called DA BISHOP (it's from a <Monty Python routine>)

jessicafischerqueen: <Bill> great to hear how wonderful your excursion was.

Shame on the <Customs folk>, if only for thier <eminent stupidity>.

Good grief a five year old child would know that if you were a <terrorist> or <drug dealer> you would go OUT OF YOUR WAY to look "normal."

In fact, they could save time and money at the border by just waving through anyone who was dressed in an <unconventional manner>.

It's comforting to know our national security is in the hands of OUTRIGHT DOLTS.

Regards,
Me

Jul-30-07  chessmoron: Swedey Bergy died today.

  jessicafischerqueen: Yes <doctor>, my newly-discovered <Korean friend>.

I'll need to learn <Korean> if I ever get over there.

It's proving a bit more difficult than I had anticipated.

Jul-30-07  Dr.Lecter: I'm getting congratulated for being a Korean?

thx?

And don't be disappointed that learning Korean is difficult

It's my mother language, and i learned it for almost all my life (before I came to America, of course) and I STILL DON'T UNDERSTAND IT! oOPS cAPS lOCK KEY...

jessicafischerqueen: Yes <doctor> it's always good to <get congratulated for being a Korean>.

It's hard work!!

It's not easy being green. Oh wait that's <Kermit the Frog>.

Ok never mind then!

Jul-30-07  Dr.Lecter: I'm following your <tradition> in rooting against the odds at chessbookie. Just bet 200 bucks each on Van Wely and Pelletier. They better do well.

jessicafischerqueen: Hmm no I haven't. It looks like a cross between <Saturday Night Fever> and <Enter the Dragon>.

(I saw <Enter the Dragon> on TV movie channel a few days ago-- very humorous dubbing, good Martial Arts action)

Jul-30-07  chessmoron: I like this description better: "like Jackie Chan and Buster Keaton meet Quentin Tarantino and Bugs Bunny."
