 | | jessicafischerqueen: Hi <Nako>! I'm fine thanks! How the heck are you??
My vacation is Jan.22-Feb 11.
And from Dec. 26- to Jan 21 I only have to work a total of 22 hours. ON FULL PAY!!
Sweet, eh?
I won't be back to Canada till August.
I get an extra month paid vacation and a free return flight if I "sign up" for another year. I think I will. I love Korean kids and I love all the money these people seem to want to put in my bank account. I will bring <Batchimeg> back. I forgot all about her! How is your school going? Are you in Graduate school? Regards,

 | | jessicafischerqueen: Hi <Wilson> How the heck are you!!! I haven't downloaded the link you gave me yet-- I've been going deeper and deeper into the world of "streaming video". You wouldn't believe the sites i've found.
Plus, I discovered that the VEOH technology gives you a PERFECT PICTURE while the DIVX technology has all kinds of bugs in it-- like it freezes, the sound goes out of sync etc. But I found that every single movie and TV show ever made is "hiding" on VEOH TV with perfect picture quality. You just need to hunt down the links.
And the "web" of links is vast. Every week a few get shut down and 50 new ones open up. Some of the link sites even have disguised names.
You find the names of them on the <streaming vid blogosphere>. Free movies and TV at your fingertips.
I've been watching a lot of Asian horror movies.
Very spooky but often hard to follow the plot.
Mike Takishi (the Odishon guy) has about 300 horror movies on VEOH TV. He is great- a truly shocking director.
Korean horror is very good as well, not to mention Japanese. My skin is still white, however- <time> is correct. How is your school going? When will you start teaching your new course? |
|
| Dec-04-07 | | chessmoron: Everything is cool. A couple of final exams coming up. I have postpone the teaching course to next Winter instead of Summer to Spain or Mexico. Still have to think how Alejandro González Iñárritu, Alfonso Cuarón and Guillermo Del Toro films connect to each other or contrast or how each of one have the auteur style. Hope I can see you in China next Summer. :-D

| Dec-04-07 | | NakoSonorense: I'm doing fine, thx!
Full pay for only 22 hrs of work? That's it, they will never let you go home again. Better get a membership at that Dog Food restaurant you were talking about the other day. I have a feeling that you're gonna be spending a lot of time there... Heh. School's good, but I'm still an undergraduate. No Grad school for me yet. Looking forward to your <Batchimeg>. Cheers. |

Where is everyone???
You better not be napping. |

 | | jessicafischerqueen: Hi <Deffi>!!!
It's a <oppickal illusion>. Actually I was playing chess with the Black pieces yesterday so my "perspective" was Black. Like rapper <Lil Kim>, for example. Arrr |

| Dec-08-07 | | Boomie: <jessicafischerqueen: Hi <Tim>!! I just posted my "game of the week"> The great invisible game. They can't mate what they don't see. I've just posted some scathing invisible analysis of the game wherein I prove that invisibility is overrated. There might be benefits to being invisible but I don't see 'em. ;-> |
|
| Dec-08-07 | | Boomie: <jessieKim> Thanks for the chuckles on the Great Jan Timman Sock Puppy Game forum. |

 | | jessicafischerqueen: It's no worries <Tim>, I thought the team could use some of my razor sharp analysis. I used it last night on the <Fish n' Chips v. The Midget> game as well, where I posted three times asking why a rook was "immune"-- as <Fish n' Chips> left it "en prise" (I thought) for several moves. Then I realized-- PAWNS CAN'T CAPTURE BACKWARDS!!
I'm pretty sure the <Great Jan Timman> will take the Queen, however. Regards,

 | | jessicafischerqueen: Ok I just bought a <Shredder 3> off the internet. Now what is this <Shredder 10> people are talking about? Did I get ripped off?
Or did I buy a <Shredder 10 Mark 3>? I'm pretty sure I followed all the instructions on the purchase page... This better be on the up and up!! |

| Dec-08-07 | | hitman84: Hi Jess,
I'm fine. How are you ? How is Korea ?
I don't know much about South Korea/Koreans but recently in Hollywood movies the Korean/Korean-looking actors are getting decent roles. So I guess they must be friendly. I've never heard of Shredder 3. Are you talking about the Chess engine Shredder ? |
|
| Dec-08-07 | | WBP: <Jess> many thanks for the note in my house a few days back. Sorry to be so late getting back to you. Still can't figure out why people find it necessary to be so rude in these Gameknot/Yahoo games. A little trash talk's fine, but when one is dealing with a stranger, well...Glad you were able to wipe the no doubt smug and self-satisfied expression off the guy's bloated, ruddy, and and open sore-riddled face with your brilliant combination (Rxg7+!). (I guess that's Monday Morning Trash Talk!). The jury's apparently still out on the new prints found in Nepal. Quite a fight going on in Cryptomundo, featuring the editor of the Skeptical Inquirer. The only shredder I know is the one the CIA uses to destroy videos, documents, smaller spies (they use industrial juicers to take care of the larger sized spies), and so on. |
|
| Dec-08-07 | | WBP: <Jess> P.S. I trust all will recognize the ironic nature of my "trash talk" in the last post (having dismissed trash talk, he proceeds to trash talk the trash talker) |
|
| Dec-08-07 | | Eyal: Hi, Bill. <P.S. I trust all will recognize the ironic nature of my "trash talk" in the last post> But the fact that you say this indicates that you don't (completely) trust us... maybe we should type at the end of such comments <irony> or <sarcasm>. Wouldn't some authors make our life easier if they did that? Well, not necessarily, since it could be interpreted ironically as well. Ok, I give up. |
|
| Dec-08-07 | | WBP: <Eyal> LOL. Great to see you. I've meant to drop by your place, but I've been so wrapped up <figuratively> in tons of stuff <hypebole> that I've had virtually no time to do so <almost literally!>. Hope you're having a good go of things. I turn grades in in the next week or two. I realy can't wait to read all the papers <sarcasm>. This World Cup's been interesting to watch (when I can take a peek). [ |

| Dec-08-07 | | Boomie: <jessicafischerqueen: good grief man you already gave your invisible analysis!!> Because a good analyst should be heard but not seen. |
|
| Dec-08-07 | | BishopofBlunder: <jessicafischerqueen: ...I get an extra month paid vacation and a free return flight if I "sign up" for another year....> Generally, the only time I am offered "free" transportation is if I promise NOT to come back to the tavern/city/state/country/parish/etc in question. That, or if I spent some time in...uh...the auspices of the local constabulary. Hi Jess! Howdy do?
Sorry I haven't been around much lately. I guess I've kinda been like an absentee fath...er... I mean, slightly older brother to you lately. BTW, (re: your profile) just how long have you been a 22 year old woman from Canada now? I think there's a time limit on such things. Love,
<BishopofBlunder>
|
|
| Dec-08-07 | | NakoSonorense: I agree with Bishop.
It should be "22 year old from Korea" |
|
Dec-08-07
 | | jessicafischerqueen: My <dear Bishop> thanks for asking!! I've been 22 now for almost exactly 11 months.
I was 21 when I joined up.
My birthday is on Jan. 10 so it's not too early to start shopping... As my <older brother> I'm assuming you have a credit card and could afford to buy me some <Kasparov insturctional videos> from <Chessbase>? I'm not greedy, one will be sufficient.
<Nako>!
Hey!
I'm a <Canadian citizen> and I gotta passport and birth certificate to prove it too. I'm a 'foreigner' here. It's my first time to take my turn as a "foreigner" and so far it feels quite 'foreign,' oddly enough. However, you really couldn't meet a nicer group of people than <South Korea>. It's like living in "friendlyville".
I'm still waiting to see the "dark side."

 | | jessicafischerqueen: HI <Bill>!!
Sorry your so busy. NO WAY are those yeti tracks real. I don't trust anything that has
"money" and a "vested interest" behind it.
that's why I trusted <Rene Dahinden> and <John Green> so much. They made pretty much zero money and are both crazy as loons. For my money, the <Chapman> Sasquatch and the <Roe> Sasquatch accounts remain the most convincing. Little details, like the <Chapman> kid saying "mommy there's a cow coming out of the woods." That's exactly the kind of thing a little kid might say. Also, mysteriously, the <Champman family>, according to some accounts, all subsequently drowned when their small boat overturned in the Fraser River. Bigfoot lives!!
Just not in the Himalayas.

Dec-08-07
 | | jessicafischerqueen: you know it just struck me that if I'd known my Jan-Feb schedule ahead of time I had enough money and time to go home for 2 weeks. Oh well, instead I will visit <Seoul> and see the GIANT and world famous <Korean War Museum>. Then I will go to <Busan> and re-enact episodes of MASH pretending I'm hot lips Hoolihan on R and R. Regards,
Insane Olde Batte |

| Dec-09-07 | | Boomie: <Hot Lips: I'm still waiting to see the "dark side."> Most of our evil draft dodgers went North to Canyatta. I'd look North of the DMZ for Darthlings. |

| Dec-09-07 | | Joshka: Hey young lady!...but until they surround Lebron with a couple of allstars, Cavs are NEVER going to Everest;-)....darn you don't have many interests, do you?;-) |
|
Dec-09-07
 | | jessicafischerqueen: Hi <Joshka>!
Yep for two years running I've been typing <Cavs take it all you heard it here first>. sigh. |
