Feb-19-08  achieve: The Doc knew that his corrected version is indeed a dodgy one as well...

There's a definite chance it is "unintelligible."

Is "for an unspecified amount of time" - correct, perfessor?

Doc is from abroad, you see... Still in the process of assimilating.

jessicafischerqueen: A very special thank you to my friends who helped me with the <Smith Morra> lines!!

I played out all suggestions this morning with my <Shredder> and monkeyed around with them...

Then I went in for a gruelling 4 hour game on Yahoo....

Heh I'm back in form, apparently.

Another win for my <Black Najdorf>!!

I'm FINALLY getting the hang of playing the Black side of Sicilians since my pledge to stop playing white every single game....

Cripes I'm exhausted. What a gruelling game... Once again the difference was me a pawn up and I hung on like grim death against a strong player and won the endgame with my extra pawn....

Yikes my brain hurts!!!!

Feb-19-08  achieve: <Jess> Congrats!!

We just had an EMU Jinx --

Fantastic stuff <Morphette>, to see you doing so well!!

jessicafischerqueen: thanks <Niels> but I feel like I just fought World War II or something.

The mere thought of a chess piece is making me feel dizzy.

Definitely in need of recuperation time.

I don't know how these super GMs play almost every day like they do=- at the highest level--

They are like Gods to me. (and goddesses!).

Morphette of the thinks chess is a <stern misstress>.

And boy it is not "just a game."

Cripes.

  WannaBe: Dear <jessicafischerqueen>:

Bidness is going well, I had to make a few 'tough' bidness decisions, but they did ease my stress... (Read, $$$ missing from my till/drawer)

No, I have not hired any 'entertainers'... my bidness licence does not allow me to have these 'helpers'...

If you know what I mean, or catch my 'drift' :-))

jessicafischerqueen: HEY!! I just noticed <Emperor Atahualpa> has closed his forum down.

THAT MEANS MY FORUM IS NOW CURRENTLY NUMBER ONE WITH 352 PAGES!!

even though they abolished the statistic because me and <Wilson> were spamming our fora so much it almost caused a <CG.com> melt down...

Feb-19-08  brankat: The Emperor closed down his forum some 6 months ago :-)
Feb-19-08  achieve: A <chessgames MELT DOWN>....

I'm getting all kinds of funny hallucinations, with all them avatars getting electrocuted... a few admins risking their limbs to save a few gamecollections... their live's work being wrecked by a lethal combination that makes <Mikhail Tal> look like a member of the <Vienna Boy's Choir>...

Jessicafischerqueen would well be capable of all that, hence the precautionary measures.

<Jess> Neil Young performed a 4 hour concert in Amsterdam this weekend!! I should have been there Dicknibbitt!!

I should pay more attention to cultural events now that I am saving some cash finally in a long time, eh ? ? ?

  jessicafischerqueen: Hi <positional>!!

Long time no see.

How the heck are you????

Yes I've been studying and steadily improving.

I'M PRETTY HAPPY about it too except today I lost like a Patzer due to NOT KNOWING THE WHITE SIDE OF A NAJDORF well enough...

I've just been analyzing the game with the <Opening Explorer> and my <Shredder Engine> as we speak... my play was not "pretty" to say the least.

Depressing, but necessary, work...

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE BIG TOURNAMENT!!!

<BAnana> and <Top O the Morning> top dogs but <Sheared Off> beat <Top O the Morning> with brilliant end-game technique today....

DROP BY MORE OFTEN MAN!!

Feb-20-08  positionalgenius: <Jessica> I'm back now:) Liking corus and linares, good endgames
Feb-20-08  positionalgenius: Kramnik-Aronian was a game of pure beauty. And multiple other games have been gems, like Leko-Radjabov 1-0 recently in linares.
Feb-20-08  positionalgenius: <Jess> I've been playing alot vs fritz and have a 1698 rating right now. Not too bad...

  jessicafischerqueen: Well done <positional>!!!

I can't beat a loka soft POC engine set at 1 second forced move at 2 ply if I know in advance it's a computer.

Psychological block....

I use my engine to analyze my games after I do them.

Good work!!!

Feb-20-08  positionalgenius: <Jess> lol. We should play a blitzfest tonight.:)

jessicafischerqueen: <positional> I gave up Blitz for good- never, ever again.

It seems to have a bad effect on my long games, and my chess psychology.

but most of all, I don't find it "fun" .

I'd be happy to play you on <Yahoo> at 2 hours each time control if you have the time and feel like a "classical game."

My email is on my Profile, mail me any time.

Feb-21-08  achieve: Hi <Jess>!

Just thought I'd say hello, and wanted to point you at <Malthrope> forum for some fantastic photo links he posted today, among which Bobby visiting Misha Tal as Tal was hospitalized.

Watched any games from More Rally Ya??

Hope all's well, Jess.

I'm on the up and up but still some sudden swings... At least I was sensible enough to rest up enough after staying up two nights earlier this week-- I was exhausted... (Geezer symptoms)

Turns out Neil Young had several concerts in Holland this week but over 200 US$ a piece, so better save some money now.

Yes, what a wonderful photo: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v... (taken at Curacao 1962)

There are also several great images of the two from their Leipzig 1960 game mentioned in Jess' profile...

jessicafischerqueen: <Niels> thank you so much for your heads up on the <Fischer photos>!!

I'm glad you are doing well-- Yes, I've played through every one of the games so far, but I'm too sleepy to watch them live.

Love, Jess
