jessicafischerqueen: Your over there regimen sounds salubrious! Interestingly, in Canada we save time by spelling "music and poker" as "moker." Initially we spelled it "poomus" but that sounded a little too declasse, even for us...

May-03-08  achieve: Magnet drew.

I think <never again Anna!> should have little problem holding this...

BUT

Mal may be right.....

May-03-08  malthrope: <Never Wins> played well with 36. Qa1 a star defensive move! This may just may peter out to a draw now (barring any mistakes). ;)
May-03-08  achieve: <This may just may <<<peter>>> out to a draw now>

Mal, what does Peter do playing on more than one board?

Funny expressions you guys have ;-)

Yep Qa1 was smart, but still a few threats remain...

They blitzed it out! -- looks drawish now.

jessicafischerqueen: But <Vulgar Slasher Movie> took big risks with exciting play pressing to win tonight!!

He will be the next <Stop Love>

May-03-08  Boomie: Thanks for the company tonight, Jessie. What fun we had again! I've run out of popcorn and my batteries need recharging. Have a great chess weekend!
May-03-08  malthrope: <achieve: Mal, what does Peter do playing on more than one board? Funny expressions you guys have ;-)>

Well... You must know that <Peter Piper picked a peck Of pickled peppers; A peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper Picked. If Peter Piper picked a peck Of Pickled peppers...>

Etc. ~lol~

May-03-08  Open Defence: we danced around the May Pole today, in pole position drinking polish vodka, polishing it off with a roast pig on a pole.....

May-04-08  achieve: Bobby's <positional squeeze>, (with the trademark rook incursions), at work here

Curtains came down pretty soon after...

jessicafischerqueen: Heh <Black> has nowhere to move...

his b, d, and e pawns are <BLOCKADED> and all his pieces are trapped behind them-- no open files or diagonals for Black.

White appears to have all the time and space in the world here!

White could just advance one of his many "b pawns" up the board and the Entire Black Queenside crumbles. Actually, it looks like White has time enough to pursue ANY PLAN at all here.

White has all the Space and Mobility in this position. Black is virtually in <Zugzwang> with 400 pieces left on the board.

Truly remarkable.

The rook on d7 is particularly sad.

He looks very uncomfortable locked in the closet like that.

MOOOO

jessicafischerqueen: I've been reading a lot of <Chess History> this afternoon by following <Branko>'s Profile links.

Also, early this morning I trained for my game by watching <4 Canstein> Vids on Great Fischer games.

May-04-08  achieve: Good work <Morphette>

The above Black oppression FEN, so accurately described by you, is from the 1967 Fischer-Badilles game...

I'd like to watch those <canstein> vids too!

Did he fix his audio yet?

jessicafischerqueen: He has a whole pile of <Fishy Vids> he made when Bobby died.

I can hear his audio fine on these- He hasn't made much for three months now.

<Badilles> isn't a chessplayer!!

I believe it's a popular Holiday destination...

jessicafischerqueen: I'm getting excited already about the big showdown between <Vulgar Slasher Movie> and <Greased Duck>.

Not to mention I'm excited for the chance to watch <Boomie's Wang> try to keep it up long enough to win the tournament.

That statement will not take long to be proven false, young Lady!!!

However - "solid" proof will be hard to present to you on short notice, Im afraid...

jessicafischerqueen: You have better English than the vast majority of native speakers.

Luckily, however, we don't have any natives in Korea.

Only cowboys.

May-04-08  achieve: And Korean Indians too, I hope?

And Kev Costner of course...

Btw I told my mom 15 min ago that you and Branko wished her the best -- and she started crying.

I think she needs to get some more stuff out pretty soon now,...

jessicafischerqueen: WEll CRYing is good I think.

It makes plants grow.

Kevin Kosteniuk is a good actor

jessicafischerqueen: Heh they love Kevin Costner here cuz he's very freindly when he's promoting a film.

But they hate Canoe Reeves cuz when he came to promote his latest movie they booed him.

In the movie he calls the Korean gangsters "Dog eating Chinks".

Heh

May-04-08  achieve: Capsized Reefes couldn't act his way out of a cartboard box if you ask me...

The Koreans are obviously on to him.

May-04-08  Boomie: <JessieRoo> The curtain has risen but the star is missing. We need your magic. You Wang is up all night. You missed my Chiffons You Wang joke from their song "He's So Fine".
May-04-08  malthrope: <Boomie: You missed my Chiffons You Wang joke from their song "He's So Fine".>

That was a good one <Boomie> ! :))

May-04-08  hoodrobin: <jessicafischerqueen: Congratulations!!

According to the <Database Statistics> you have now made more than <36,000> pages, second only to <Kibbutz Kafe>!!

Is <The Great Jan Timman> fried yet?>

A. We speak a lot.

B. We think GJT will be fried soon.

B(1). I hope so.

Thanks!
