 | | jessicafischerqueen: For <Genesis> and <Internet Kids> fans: Just read this message in the chat box while listening to Genesis with Peter Gabriel-- his masterpiece "The Cinema Show" featuring many many allusions to TS Eliot poems. I think the young Peter Gabriel is a good influence on today's youth!! Here is the proof:
<Petter Gavriel knos how to spell.what a greay lyrics writer-- and he read lots of books like TS Idiot, as that other guy said. pette gabra is a genius. And when he was young he is supr sexy and nobody can sing like him. Tru blesings to us poor internet kids with no branes, but at leest we love gevesis, who are smarmt.> Heh
Well said, IMNSHO.
Here is the song (Part One)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DEzE...
"I will make my bed she said,
But turned to go...
Can she be late for her Cinema show?
Romeo locks his basement flat
And scurries up the stair
With head held high and floral tie
A weekend millionaire
I will make my bed with her tonight he cried...
Take a little trip back, with father Tieresias
Listen to the old one speak...
Of all he has lived through
"I have crossed between the pearls," he said,
"For me there is no mystery
Once a man, like the sea I raged
Once a woman like the earth I gave,
But there is in fact more earth than sea."
Anyone recognize the TS Idiot poem in question? |

How are things going? >
Haywire, but in a good way. I've gotten embroiled in a nerdy mathematical/logical debate in <Sneaky>'s forum. It seems there is a paradox that's resistant to scrutiny. :-P <When is the next prediction contest?> Actually, there's one starting this weekend (from Biel, Switzerland), featuring: 2775, Carlsen (Nor)
2708, Dominguez (Cuba)
2708, Alekseev (Rus)
2691, Bacrot (Fra)
2670, Onischuk (USA)
2569, Pelletier (Swi)

So, what is your feeling about avatars? Are you looking for one that you can marry for life, or do you just move from one to another when you get tired of them? :-) |

| Jul-17-08 | | notyetagm: Gee, <JFQ>, I thought that -I- wrote that last kibitz that you put in my forum but had forgotten about it. But then I noticed that subtle differences in your style and realized that -YOU- in fact wrote it. Very nice. :-)

| Jul-17-08 | | achieve: <Jess> I just now forwarded yet another secret BEEMULE... As if I haven't got anything better to do. Yep.
Mr. Rustiness is largely psychological, which is logical, too. |

| Jul-17-08 | | achieve: <Jess> I've got a combo here... First, I saw this young woman across the street, having a huge @$$, but yet still trimmed at the waist... Remarkable - such a trained body with such a trimmed waist, yet her butt was gigantic! I thought: Oh, what power lies in the GENES.
Then I came home, still in amazement, and switched on my computer and visited YouTube... <Majnu> had posted a vid and advised to take <20 minutes> of thought, before answering to the asked question. Taking time.
What is this thing called ....
You'll be back in shape in no-time.

| Jul-17-08 | | madlydeeply: Hello Lady Jess I'd have to disagree about the "physically repellent" theory of the presidents...of course I am a heterosexual male so what do I know...but I'd say Nixon was repellent, as was Carter, Bush sr. was a feeble old coot, whiney with a gutter mouth (read my lips!) and Bush Jr. has the bewildered look of a retard...complete with sweaty fat forehead skin...perspires when he thinks too hard... And I'd say there are millions of people who consider a rich old white liar much less repellant than a young handsome black liar... but who know maybe the public will surprise us this year... that is if you believe that votes are actually counted and tallied...and after the shenanigans in the last two elections i don't know why anybody would come to that conclusion. There hasn't exactly been a movement to clean up the vote counting process that i've witnessed...except in California where they've moved away from Diebold machines after Ken Lay arranged for his stooge to become the Governator. |

| Jul-18-08 | | achieve: Hi all.
Here's the position from the <Majnu> YouTube instructional video I mentioned earlier: click for larger viewTry and find White's winning plan.
It might take some time, and the enjoyable thing is that my engine doesn't have a clue what's going on, even after 12 or 13 moves into the winning line, at which point any reasonable club player can see the winning motif/combination coming... |

| Jul-18-08 | | WBP: Hi <Jess>!!
I owe a million people (literally) on this site a hello, message, telegram, sky message, and so on. I've been otherwise engaged. I hope all understand. But I did want to tell you that your discussion of that wholesome family game <Creamo> in <Dom's> fine, record-breaking house aroused (bad word choice?) several thoughts. First off (perhaps, another bad phrase here), I was reminded that I played such a game when I was younger, though it was, then, a solitaire version. Also, did you know that there's a Celebrity version of <Creamo> coming out soon? Not many details, but I understand that Charles Durning and Claude Aikens are aboard--no more details, though I'll keep you informed. Best, Bill |

| Jul-18-08 | | Travis Bickle: I thought Id give you a hello Jessica, your always upbeat and fun to talk to.

| Jul-18-08 | | metatron2: regarding the above position, just to know whether i am in the right direction before really getting into checking it. i was thinking about something like this for white: 1. Bc1 & a4 , and now in case black doesn't play bxa3 then: bring the white king to g5 with: Kf3-g3-h4-g5
play a4-a5 (and maybe a5-a6) to keep the black king as far as c7 square from the king side. then play Be3 Bxc5
and after black's Bxc5 play Kh6 and collect the king side pawns. have no idea if that is working just wanted to know if that is the right direction? |
