jessicafischerqueen: Your over there regimen sounds salubrious! Interestingly, in Canada we save time by spelling "music and poker" as "moker." Initially we spelled it "poomus" but that sounded a little too declasse, even for us...

Oct-15-08  Woody Wood Pusher: <Seems to me the same goes for Anand.>

Well Anand had black...so he was reacting as best he could to dull old Drawnik?

Anand even managed to sac a pawn in the bone dry position Drawnik created, he even managed to get some real counter-play for a while.

What more can you ask of black?

Seems to me you are biased.

Oct-15-08  Boomie: Our gracious queen opened a big old can of klangen farben about the 12 game match...you go gull...Anand-Kramnik World Championship Match (2008)
Oct-15-08  brankat: <WW Pusher> <Seems to me you are biased.>

I was just going to say the same thing. You must be a psychic :-)

Oct-15-08  brankat: <Boomie> Duly noted (and supported) :-)
Oct-15-08  Woody Wood Pusher: <brankat> Maybe, but then I still can't see what more you expected of Anand in that game?

Perhaps you could enlighten me?

Oct-15-08  brankat: <WWPusher> I replied in my forum. Before Jess throws us out of here :-)
Oct-15-08  Woody Wood Pusher: <JFQ> I saw you single-handedly fighting the hordes of darkness in the Anand-Kramnik Championship page and have started a flanking action! Huzzah!
Oct-15-08  achieve: <Jess> Hi!

A few notes for ya at <branko>'s and my place...

I'll be checking in soon.

Secretly was lurking a few secs yesterday already, when checking at that fab WCC draw... I am of the opinion I could have done it, too.

Mr. Up and Up

Oct-15-08  Woody Wood Pusher: <JFQ> <I've decided to stay up all night watching tonight's game...>

That is a true chess fans decision! Especially with work the next day! I suspect (and hope) it will be worth it.

I have my fingers crossed for this game, I reckon Anand will play 1.e4 like everyone else, and I hope Kramnik uses the Petroff because Anand has to be ready for it and we will be in for a real treat... cutting edge chess and this match can start contributing to important theory like I know it will!

Oct-15-08  hms123: <jess> great posts on the WCC page. <GM Walker> certainly showed his stripes. <we don't have GM's yet>--heh
Oct-15-08  Boomie: <Minor adJessment>

Wake up, you sleepy head.
Put on your clothes, get out of bed.
Put another log on the fire for me.
I made some breakfast and coffeeeeeeee.

Oh, that's right. You're in another time warp. Never mind.

Domdaniel: Combinations and chemistry are your only men.
Oct-15-08  klangenfarben: Well I threw one more BombemFarben into the team forum, having read only one relevant yet revisionist reply and posting as obnoxiously as five minutes would allow. Maybe that scalding plus my relentless harping on CG's technical tomfoolery will get me the fight I apparently so desperately want.
Oct-15-08  hms123: <jess> emu coming--no need to duck.
Oct-15-08  klangenfarben: <Boomie>: ... farb the last klang. And don't forget that you're the designated driver.

Oct-16-08  Boomie: A klang! A klang! My farben for a klang! Once more! Into the bleach!
Oct-16-08  klangenfarben: oh if i didn't step into it in the past twenty minutes in Team White's and snot-nosed bloodnok's forum there's no hope for any of us...
Oct-16-08  Boomie: <klangenfarben: oh if i didn't step into it in the past twenty minutes in Team White's and snot-nosed bloodnok's forum there's no hope for any of us...>

I can't get in to Team White because I have to sit in the balcony with the rest of the coloreds. But you will be squashed by admin for the bloodnok tirades and you should delete them post haste. For most jerks ignorance is the best punishment. They never learn anyway so why waste the energy trying to teach them?

Oct-16-08  brankat: I don't participate in any of those team games, neither do I kibitz there. Don't like large crowds, and endless, repetitive analysis.

So, I don't know what was it that provoked such an angry reaction by <klang>.

If somebody needed to be taught a "lesson", then the language of the posts in <bloodnok>'s forum is not going to do it.

Incidentally, this happens to be my post # 11,111 :-)

Oct-16-08  klangenfarben: Nah I klang'd em all good, including Amateur Freeman. The twit you speak of got more than another earful for his pomposity. Failing substantive rebuttal of the content, strawman arguments were all that was left. Quite Rove-ian.

"Silence Implies Consent" is expressly stated by Robert's Rules of Order, which I have cited previously in <lost in space>'s forum, and I ain't going quietly tyvm.

Amateur Freeman already deleted my complaints about the knucklehead handling of game two of the WCC, which speaks volumes of CG's regard for quality.
