Mar-02-09  Thorski: <notyetagm: <JFQ> My fav piano piece, arguably: any recording of Chopin's Winter Wind etude.>

Great one! I personally prefer the Revolutionary Etude, by a hair. I won't attempt to name my all-time favorite piano composition, as there are too many contenders.

PS: ANY recording? This seems excessively generous toward the not insignificant number of somewhat substandard recording pianists out there. =)

Mar-03-09  madlydeeply: just in case you were wondering Jess, you still OWN me, especially after that story of the chess game on your day off followed by throwing around furniture. I like when people think prfoundly differently than I.

So if you need anything just say they word....Cream Cheese? Scrapple? Jersey Tomatoes? or from AZ...Chiltepenas? Mesquite Flour? Exotic animals might take a little more time...Ring Tailed Cat? Coatimundi?

Once a RingTailed Cat (raccoon family with opposable thumbs) found its way into my parents kitchen wall...and would come out at night to eat! They caught it and rereleased it...but took a snapshot of it on the counter...I have to ask mia madre to send me a copy of that photo. Meanwhile I show another picture of this lovely prankster....

http://filelibrary.myaasite.com/Con...

Another time I was camping in LOVELY ARAVAIPA (don't tell anybody shhh.) when my freinds left a pinapple cake next to a pretty darn sheer cliff face (who brings a cake camping? they were North Carolina Hillbillies..) they turned around to see a cat backing back UP the cliff with the whole cake in its hands!!

AH!

Late.

Mar-03-09  malthrope: Jess - this one's for you... :)

<After Jess wakes up <jessicafischerqueen>, I'll then post the original scoresheet made that night on April 13th, 1964 at the Mechanics' Institute Chess Club when I played Bobby... :^)>

It was posted here in: Fischer vs A Benson, 1964

Then in a post-postscript mention back to Woody... This one:

<PPS: The original scoresheet with Bobby is available only if you <'twist my arm'> very slowly and very nicely I might add! :D>

with...

<Mal: <WWP: <Yea I read that <mal>, did <JFQ> break any of your limbs for a copy yet? hehe>

I'm sure Jess will make me an offer I can't refuse! ~lol~ Then I'll post it where it rightly belongs right here: Fischer vs A Benson, 1964>

That one was posted here: A Benson

You can <'twist my arm'> any way you like... :D

I'm easy! ~lol~ ;)

jessicafischerqueen: Thanks <Mal> and congratulations on your <Player Page>!!!

Let's hope <CG.com> gets busy fast with the proper corrections, and we get a proper bio and picture in there.

<THE MAN WHO PLAYED BOBBY FISCHER>...

Mar-03-09  malthrope: <JFQ: [...] <THE MAN WHO PLAYED BOBBY FISCHER>... >

Well, that part is at least true! :D

Actually Jess what I've intended all along and have been quite consistent with (having discussed it with <acirce>, <achieve> & <sallom89> months ago) is to create my own identity with its own ID# a new page for 'Alan Benson'. Then after it's created to inform <CG.com> the typo error in this game "Fischer vs A Benson, 1964" [ Fischer vs A Benson, 1964 ] which should now read: "Fischer vs Alan Benson, 1964". What happens to - A Benson - is no longer my concern accept for its comic value. What does the 'A' stand for? ~lol~ ;)

Think that's clear enough! :^)

My Best, - Mal

PS: My post of Sept-02-08 in 'Creationists And Flat-Earthers' - acirce chessforum - on page 110.

jessicafischerqueen: <Mal> yes I gathered as much after a close reading of the thread on what should be your page.

I trust you are in contact with <CG.com> to get your own proper player page without <A Benson>.

The "A" stands for <A Bass>.

He gained brief notoriety as the only freshwater gamefish who could play chess...

Until <Pyke> came along.

CASE CLOSED (soon I hope)

Mar-03-09  malthrope: <JFQ: <Mal> yes I gathered as much after a close reading of the thread on what should be your page.>

Well - A Benson - can stand by itself with the other two players (one of the players and their game is duplicated as it's the same game as noted in my post back to Woody). Who knows who those other 'A Benson' really are? :O

<CASE CLOSED (soon I hope)>

I sincerely hope so too Jess! :^)

Best Always, - Mal

Mar-04-09  Travis Bickle: Oh Cleopatra of The Nile My Queen M'lady! (bow, bow, bow,) Your Majesty I just got some new toys for my system. A pair of 90 dollar speakers to hear music all proper!! ; P Do you have any requests?
Mar-04-09
Premium Chessgames Member
  jessicafischerqueen: Yes I do <Travis>!

My request is for you to take on the <Warner Music Group> and tell them to stop stripping videos from <youtube>.

They own whole or part copyright of almost every piece of recorded music in America, and the videos are disappearing fast.

If you check through your own list of hyperlinks you will find that many of them now lead to dead links.

So please tell them to <cut it out> so that people can post all of the <Genesis> records again.

There is a pattern to the <WMG> rips- if an act is currently releasing a record , or re-releasing an old one- they just ask <youtube> to rip it out and they obey the order.

So for the last year the <Genesis 6-CD remastered Box Set> has been released, so that's why many or most of their music has been stripped off of <youtube>.

People keep reposting, but it's not hard for <youtube> to just type in <genesis> in their own search box and then delete at will.

Mar-04-09  Travis Bickle: Hey Lady, Is there a limit to how much data you can store in your forum? I lost everything after I received a message saying something like "you're forum is too full". ; 0
Mar-04-09  Travis Bickle: I have the perfect song for you Jessica!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F8ys...

P.S. About youtubes debacle, you would think bands would want their older songs on youtube. It can only help sales of those bands!? I mean people looking for a certain song to share might stumble upon something they never heard before and thus want to buy it. One word dumb! {:O(

Mar-04-09  Woody Wood Pusher: Hey <JFQ>, <Travis>, not that I can make use of it right now, but I heard they are launching a new website where you can listen to/ watch all the music you like for free, and legally, as long as you listen to one advert every 20 minutes.

Sorry, I didn't catch the name, but it was on the news recently.

Mar-04-09  madlydeeply: Howdy Jess I finally talked to HMS about his line of work and NOW I GET IT!! I think I had to get out all my old angst vs. my snotty petrified fossil professors before I could open my mind!

I apologize for misdirected aggression and belittlement.

Sincerely MrThickHead.

Mar-04-09  Woody Wood Pusher: Here is an amusing (well, reasonably) blunder by my opponent in a recent yahoo game <JFQ>

I'm White.

25...a6?

click for larger view

It's a classic mistake,(he had 15 mins on his clock still) he is expecting 26.Ba4 no doubt, but he has forgotten his Knight cannot be in two places at once...

26.Bxa6! Nxa6 27.Qxe6+

and at this point he just sat there and let his clock tick down to nothing, which was nice.

Obviously 27...Qxe6 28.Rxe6 Bb4 29.Rxa6 wasn't an endgame which appealed to him, even though it is not lost by force by any means in a rapid game.

What a sore loser.

haha

  jessicafischerqueen: <madly deeply>

You've nothing to apologize for-- like <The Woodman>, you call 'em like you see 'em.

I still maintain that is a picture of <Christopher Lee> though.

Ok I'm trying to imagine the picture as <Bogey>, but I'm having trouble with him not looking "Butch" enough.

I'm used to seeing <Bogey> threaten people:

Favorite example:

<Peter Lorre> (to Bogey): "That's the second time you've slapped me..."

<Bogey>: "When you're slapped, you'll take it and like it."

HAHAHAHAAHAH

CASE CLOSED

Here is a complete <Youtube> playlist for <The Maltese Falcon>, the movie that line is from.

It's my favorite <Bogey> film.

And also <Key Largo>.

Did you know <Bogey> was brilliant?

He had an IQ of over three million on the <Wexler Adult Intelligence Scale>.

Well, he does in my imagination.

CASE OPEN

And yes agreed <hms123: An Epistemology Odyssey> is a very wise man and I always listen to him. In fact, I obey every order, no matter how ridiculous...

Well actually I don't but that's another line from a movie I love.

<Apocalypse Now>

THIS IS THE END... bee bee beeeeee beee bummmm

THIS IS THE END. MY FRIEND...

jessicafischerqueen: <Wood> a grand find indeed on his overloaded Knight-- You know how the psychology works-- even if he had found the only possible defence, he may have an unpalatable endgame but you know when a player makes a mistake- that is a kind of rude shock--

Sometimes they get so angry they just want to quit straight off.

And then throw their laptop out the window.

I can tell you it's a true miracle that I haven't thrown mine off the balcony yet.

anyhoo..

Bloody Good Show <Wood>!!

You stuck it to him good.
