  jessicafischerqueen: <Carmen Miranda> and <Noted Rock Icon Rod Argent>

Thanks lads! Things is pretty OK here.

It's not the missiles you have to worry about though.

Nothing ever really happens here. They even shoot at each other's boats and the North shot a woman dead on the beach last year and still nothing happens.

<North Korea> is irrelevant, kind of like the political opinions of <acirce>.

There are 70,000 American soldiers here with submarines with Nuclear warheads that actually work.

The North did invade here before, of course, but they were repulsed by <Robert Altman's> very fine film <M.A.S.H.>

jessicafischerqueen: <HD AEROSOL> or whatever your name is. I deleted your post for the following reason:

A: I don't allow those INSIPID "smily face" thingies in here. Particularly when they are typed as a kind of GUTLESS DISCLAIMER at the end of a sentence which is rude, libelous, etc.

B: Nobody- and I mean nobody- criticizes the <Republic of Korea National Soccer Squad> in this forum.

C: Here is a message for you in Korean: <Si-bal! Baka yaro!>

Well actually the second part is colloquial Japanese.

If you want to post in my forum you have to obey MY PERSONAL posting guidelines.

I don't have to follow them though.

This is one of the priviliges of not being a MEALY MOUTHED CHEAPSKATE and all around FAN OF DICTATORSHIPS as so many, many of you people seem to be around here.

I suggest emigrating to the the US and buying a Premium Membership at CG.com, eating some hamburgers, maybe watch a few <Paris Hilton> films.

Could put you in a better mood.

Apr-05-09  Woody Wood Pusher: <Unless they were starting a collection of MORON items for a MORON museum, which is not a bad idea.>

HAHAHA

A $2,000,000 Moron Museum.

I was reading up on this whole North Korean satellite business, and apparently they put one into orbit in 1998.

It was supposed to broadcast 'revolutionary melodies'

It's a shame that by all accounts it really crashed into the sea much like this latest attempt.

Just think how groovy tuning into those revolutionary beats could have been.

hehe

  jessicafischerqueen: <Woodlanta>

heh-- did you read about the mini match I played yesterday on <Yahoo>?

Also, I played a game on Saturday which I'm still analyzing, and I'm going to post parts of it.

So if you get time please take a look ok?

<North Korea> is backwards and laughable.

Unless you are a North Korean.

Then it is a hideous, indefensible dictatorship where the national sport is not SOCCER, but rather <starving to death>.

Let's put it this way- you don't have to give "food poisoning" to the North Korean National team to beat them.

A Middle School Girl's Field Hockey team could beat the North Korean Soccer team.

The <ROK team>, on the other hand, is playing most excellently.

Our new star "Yoon" is particularly strong at the moment and of course we still have Man U's <Park Ji-sung>.

Go Yooooooooooon!

  jessicafischerqueen: <Wood> quick political question:

Why are almost all of the <Pro-dictatorship> members of CG.com <non premium members>?

Is there a direct correlation?

I think there is.

Apr-05-09  hms123: <jess> Of course there is. They want to <BE> the dictator. then the world would be a better place--for them.
Apr-05-09  Woody Wood Pusher: I must have missed your yahoo-mini-match <JFQ>.

Did you post it in your forum or somewhere else?

I'm looking forward to seeing your latest game. I will keep my analysis hat on standby in anticipation!

jessicafischerqueen: <Wood> the post is right here on this page. It's just a description of events- no scores, lines, or FENs in the post.

The games themselves were not of very high quality IMO- but psychologically it was a very interesting and very very enjoyable encounter with a tough (for me) opponent.

I'm going to post part of the <English game> I played this past Saturday though.

With FENS and I think there might be an instructive point.

Possibly.

  jessicafischerqueen: <hms123: A Political Science Odyssey>

Well you know <Howard> I almost mentioned this as well but we <Canadians> get sick and tired of a lifetime of watching the <constant America-bashing> from malcontent crap countries that don't even have plants in them.

I mean OK it's too bad that most people in the world have to endure crap lives in crap countries that don't have plants or grass in them.

Really, really too bad. No doubt about it.

But how that translates, exactly, to a license to gratuitously bash the USA 24/7 is beyond me.

Particularly since the USA spends more money on foreign aid- COLD HARD FREE CASH-- than all of the rest of the world combined.

America: Love it or Leave it. Or don't come to it in the first place.

If it's such a terrible place then why does EVERY SINGLE PERSON from those other crap countries try to emigrate to the United States?

And when they get there, why are they the FIRST to take <full, and very loud, advantage> of all of their new-found political freedoms?

Well, because they don't have <any> of those freedoms in their own countries.

Don't get me wrong- one can mount a strong, and accurate, critique of many aspects of American politics, history, policy--

But this knee-jerk American bashing.

I've heard it my whole life and it makes me sick.

If one is going to criticize the USA, please use actual facts and analysis.

Let's not just assume the USA is evil.

I met some nice Americans once in <Bellingham. Washington State>.

They called me a "cheesehead", because I'm from Canada.

HAHAHAHAAHAHA

cheeshead

Good times!

jessicafischerqueen: Note to self- List of <Vista compatible free firewalls>

<Avira Premium Security Suite (32 and 64 Bit)

BitDefender family (32 and 64 Bit)
Comodo (32 and 64 Bit) Not Recommended (Warning: Includes Ask Toolbar disguised as Surfsafe Toolbar!)

EQSecure (32 Bit)
Jetico Personal Firewall (32 and 64 Bit)
Online Armor (32 Bit)

PC Tools family (32 Bit)

Privacyware solutions (32 and 64 Bit)

ProSecurity (32 Bit)
System Safety Monitor (32 Bit)
Webroot Desktop Firewall (32 Bit) (Requires Registration)>

Sadly, my favorite free firewall <zone alarm> froze up my drivers or something when I tried to install it on my <32 bit Vista> machine and I had to use system restore to get a clean reboot.

If anyone has any information about this list of firewalls, please post here OK?

Also, if anyone is using a <Pay version> of a <vista compatible firewall> that they'd like to recommend, please do so.

Be as detailed as you like if you wish to respond.

I have 90 days free <MacAfee> firewall pre-installed on my PC, but when it runs out I want to install a good, effective, non-intrusive firewall to replace it.

Also, I have the <Vista 32 bit Windows Firewall> turned on as well.

Anyone have any hard information about how effective the "in house" Windows Vista firewall is?

I know for a fact that the <XP version> of the Windows firewall was a total joke.

OK, again, any and all information on this topic is super welcome.

Apr-05-09  A.G. Argent: Bellingham, eh? I spent six months one weekend in beautiful downtown Bellingham. Had a gig up there. Paid for by the Washington chapter of the International Zombies Fan Club. But it's still too close to everywhere. Especially the land of cheeseheads.
Apr-05-09  crawfb5: <hms123: <jess> Of course there is. They want to <BE> the dictator. then the world would be a better place--for them.>

Well the world <would> be a better place if (should that be <when>?) I were dictator. I would insist on a triple-digit IQ minimum...

  jessicafischerqueen: <Big Crawdaddy>

Well I'm sure you would make a fine <dictator>.

But first let's see you pass the <triple digit IQ test>:

NO GOOGING! NO LOOKING AT BOOKS! NO ASKING <Howard>!

Ok this contest is open to all.

Whoever supplies the correct answers to these questions gets to be World Dictator for Life:

1. Who has seen the wind?

2. What are the effects of gamma rays on man in the moon marigolds?

3. Are you there, God? It's me, <Big Crawdaddy>.

4. Quo Vadis?

5. The Lady or the Tiger?

6. What's the Difference between You and Me?

OK as you might have guessed, your actual task is to identify <who wrote> each of the six works I've just alluded to.

I will be truly impressed if anyone can get all six

NO GOOGLING

Ok?

If all fail, we will be stuck with <American democracy>.

I believe <Howard> is currently head of state, but I don't know much about politics, since I wasted the best years of my life garnering a <English Literature Degree>.

Which landed me in Korea where there is not a single piece of English literature.

Although I did notice <two> copies of a <German - Korean> dictionary in my classroom this morning.

Which might top the list of "World's most useless book given where it is currently sitting."

  jessicafischerqueen: <Carmen Miranda>

Good grief OK you score <1> point for that stunning photo of the <Tiger Lady>, who has that terrible disease they made the Cher movie about <Mask>.

"Lionitis" it's called informally.

I'm adding one bonus point for <GHOD> because I cant' read it without laughing uncontrollably, plus I've been saying it to everyone I know for the last three days.

So you have <2/6> and are the current front runner.

Apr-07-09

  jessicafischerqueen: <Travissimo>

How did you do?

Well technically you rang in with a score of <0.0>.

However, I'm giving you one bonus point for humor.

So you have <1/6> in second place at the moment.

I don't like Dogs in sunglasses.

The <Iggy> vid is tremendously great, I have to say. But how could it not be?

It's Iggy!

I don't have room for a dog at the moment, sorry to say= also, they tend to get eaten here.

GHOD

Apr-07-09  madlydeeply: The greatest song king crimson made was "21st century schizoid man" followed by the stupidest song ever and one line goes "I talk to the wind...but the wind cannot see".

I think.

Apr-07-09  Travis Bickle: <jessicafischerqueen> Wow Jess it must be tough to pass your course! I thought I should get another grade point just for being a dog with sunglasses!! I mean according to Sam Jackson's character in Pulp Fiction "A dog has personality and personality goes along way"! ; P

i would like to apologize for timing out on you in our <EPIC STRUGGLE TO THE DEATH> on chess.com. i'm pretty sure that chess.com gave my computer a nasty little virus, which i have only just now recovered from. i guess it's my fault for not updating my anti-virus package, but i won't make that mistake again. i will also not be visiting chess.com again. my interaction with the administrators at that site regarding the virus was...unhelpful, to say the least.

but now i'm back to terrorize teh internets!!1!111!!! BWAHAHAHAHAH!!!
