1<The greatest song king crimson made was "21st century schizoid man">

Incorrect. But <Epitaph> is, from the same record.

2. <the stupidest song ever>

Incorrect. The <stupidest song ever> is well Ok that one might be correct. Nice flute though.

Which reminds me- <Beatles trivia>:

When did Paul McCartney write "Silly Love Songs?"

1964-2009

Speaking of Zombies, did you see the British Zombie flick set on a <Reality TV Show>?

It's very good. I can't remember the name of it though.

Highly recommended.

jessicafischerqueen: <TV> Don't feel bad, as not one person has correctly identified one of the trivia answers yet.

At least everyone is being honest by not GOOGLING the answers, which would take all of six seconds.

jessicafischerqueen: <Blacksburg> I'm appalled to hear your news. I'm very sorry- I know virus problems are the worst.

Glad to hear you have a clean PC now?

<Chess.com> hasn't given me any problem yet..

But you know what if you trust me to be discreet would you please consider emailing me with the whole story?

I promise not to pass on your email address. Mine is at the top of my Profile.

I recently had a SAGA involving Trojans and various security products, and I'd be very interested in what happened to you and how you solved the problem.

Very interested.

Apr-07-09  blacksburg: <JFQ> there's not much to tell, really. i got a virus, my computer crapped itself, and my correspondence with the admins was basically like this -

<Hey guys, you might be spreading a virus on your site, you may want to take a look at it.>

<There's no way we gave you a virus, it's impossible. You must have gotten it somewhere else. Get anti-virus package and stop looking at prOn, noob.>

i wasn't trying to blame them, and they were right, i should have updated my anti-virus, but their attitude and refusal to consider the possibility that they were spreading a virus was a little off-putting. oh well.

i ended up buying a new notebook. which i needed to do anyways, so i'm not too angry about it.

  jessicafischerqueen: Amazing-

I also bought a new notebook!

Well I was convinced an email from my boss had given me <Three Trojan Horses>.

A week later, after I had bought a new computer, and also tested every single security program known to mankind, I discovered that one of these programs had listed the <Trojans> as a FALSE POSITIVE.

The program Admins determined there never were any Trojans in the first place and they corrected their program.

I'm kind of glad I didn't accuse my boss of giving me viruses....

heh

(I love my new computer- it's bigger brighter faster and has way better sound)

  jessicafischerqueen: Whoa

<Howard> you have just sprung in to the lead now with TWO CORRECT ANSWERS!!

It's still possible for you to be beaten by someone who can come up with 3-4 of the rest before you can, though....

I will wait a few more days before distributing the champion burritos

  jessicafischerqueen: <Big Crawdaddy>

Well I'm sure you would make a fine <dictator>.

But first let's see you pass the <triple digit IQ test>:

NO GOOGING! NO LOOKING AT BOOKS! NO ASKING <Howard>!

Ok this contest is open to all.

Whoever supplies the correct answers to these questions gets to be World Dictator for Life:

1. Who has seen the wind?

2. What are the effects of gamma rays on man in the moon marigolds?

3. Are you there, God? It's me, <Big Crawdaddy>.

4. Quo Vadis?

5. The Lady or the Tiger?

6. What's the Difference between You and Me?

OK as you might have guessed, your actual task is to identify <who wrote> each of the six works I've just alluded to.

I will be truly impressed if anyone can get all six

NO GOOGLING

Ok?

If all fail, we will be stuck with <American democracy>.

I believe <Howard> is currently head of state, but I don't know much about politics, since I wasted the best years of my life garnering a <English Literature Degree>.

Which landed me in Korea where there is not a single piece of English literature.

Although I did notice <two> copies of a <German - Korean> dictionary in my classroom this morning.

Which might top the list of "World's most useless book given where it is currently sitting."

jessicafischerqueen: <WHO WROTE THE DANG THING TRIVIA CONTEST>

Update-

<Howard> has solved numbers 3 and 5.-- <Judy Blume. Frank Stockyards>

Here are a few HINTS-

--Number one <Who has seen the Wind>

A famous Canadian novel whose title comes trom the Bible

GHOD

---Number six <What's the Difference Between me and you> is an "Old School" Rap hit written by one of the biggest 'Rap Daddies' of all time.

Apr-07-09  hms123: <jess> #6--would that be a certain alliterative <docker> whose name appears often in the NYT crossword puzzle? I am afraid to ask myself.

YES!

<Dr. Dre> is correct, giving you THREE ANSWERS now.

So you are guaranteed a Draw at the least.

Unless one person can come up with all three of the others, you will win the <Championship>!!

Also, THE DOC is not just for Crosswords!!

Just check this out-

What's the Difference?

Here he is LIVE featuring <Eminem and Xbitz>!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?hl=en&...

"Keep my name outta you mouf
And we can keep it the same,

N______!"

"What's the difference between me an you?

About Five Record Deals, Two ounces and Three Vehicles!"

jessicafischerqueen: Whoa <Eminem> was great old school-

His lyrics are very clever in this "classic number"-

"I'll shoot you wit a sawed-off and then beat you to death with the part that was sawed off...

That's for even thinkin' bout havin' those thoughts thought up,

You better show some respect whenever the Doc's brought up!"

Plus he is super super hot.

Good gravy

jessicafischerqueen: Notice <Eminem's> "lively" and very affective use of <alliteration> here-employing both consonance and assonance at the same time
Apr-07-09  hms123: <jess> Having just listened to that clip, I think I will stick with Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mxPg...
Apr-07-09

jessicafischerqueen: Well they are quite distinct, of course. But one must admit that both clips are "going for the same effect," surely?

By that, I mean that both <Dr. Dre> and <Fred n' Ginger> were involved in <notorious "beefs"> in Los Angeles that erupted into <gunplay>.

Apr-07-09  Woody Wood Pusher: Hey <JFQ>

I said I would try and sum up the work on our game for you, but ATM the choice seems pretty clear.

The strongest line is <20.Nd5 Re8> by a ways IMO.

The choices on move 21 are much less clear though, with <21.e3/Nxb6> seeming like even money ATM.

Both those lines contain a lot of options so I wouldn't like to predict which path the game might take after that.

If you want to move the game on sooner rather than later that would be fine with me, but of course please take the time to study the lines if you want as well.

Thanks <JFQ>!
