jessicafischerqueen: Your over there regimen sounds salubrious! Interestingly, in Canada we save time by spelling "music and poker" as "moker." Initially we spelled it "poomus" but that sounded a little too declasse, even for us...

jessicafischerqueen: Hey <Doggimus> yep that's my opinion based on the aggregate of the posts I've read by him over the last three years.

I posted that in my forum, however, and he's had me on ignore for years so what I said here's not really suitable for reposting.

He doesn't need to see that- I do respect him in some areas-- I wasn't kidding about that part of the post.

He's not a coward and he's not inconstant.

So I'm just going to delete your question since it has a bit of a repost in it OK?

It's not a big deal to me.

Jul-12-09  SugarDom: I'd like to see Chessgames.com include in the database statistics the most number of pages for a chessforum...

We know who will win hands down...

About 2000 kibitz more for the main title.

jessicafischerqueen: <SugarDom> they used to have it but they eliminated it because of a vicious spam war me and <Brankat> and <chessmoron> were having.

It got so out of hand they had to shut down the category.

The old record for most pages in a forum was <Emperor Atahualpa> with 568 pages.

<Brankat> remembered that- he remembers almost everything about this website- and in great detail.

Jul-12-09  twinlark: <jess> Not a problem. I quite like him myself, but I like to like people. Bit of a wuss really.
Jul-12-09  Ron: Dortmund (2009)
Jul-12-09  Boomie: Winnik does it again! You can't stop him. You can only contain him.
Jul-12-09  chessmoron: <but they eliminated it because of a vicious spam war me and <Brankat> and <chessmoron> were having.>

So much fun. :D

  jessicafischerqueen: <McLovin>!

Yes- you with your actual 6 page at at time chess puzzles- real puzzls- with you making the FEN and "Prince of Dragons" solving.

And <Branko> discovering that it was "25 posts per page" and it didn't matter how long each post was-

Led to the infamous "One word per post" page.

I think there are 20 page stretches in this forum here with only one word per post.

Jul-12-09  chessmoron: Yeah. And I bow to the Queen of Spamalot.

  jessicafischerqueen: <Ron> Yes, yes..

You can read me eating crow about it over at <AgentRgnt> forum.

Looks like <Winnik> has revitalized and is playing like a savage beast.

Is there a <Winnik> fan on the planet who doesn't feel vindicated at this moment?

Truly a remarkable achievement. Especially given the very high draw rate of this tournament-

<GM Kramnik> maybe he got tired of being labeled a "draw guy" and "not strong enough" to beat <Anand>.

I badly miss your forum-

"Chicks, chess, hoops and movies"

This site is much poorer since your absence.

Any chance of a rebirth?

jessicafischerqueen: Without your forum, we wouldn't have seen IMO the greatest discussion about movies in history, ending with <Nakosonorense's> immortal:

"Screw you. I liked it."

Jul-12-09  blacksburg: hello, JFQ!

did you know?

<Historically, the word "husky" is a corruption of the derogative term "Eskie," also given to the Esquimaux tribes that came into contact with Europeans who made early expeditions into their lands.>

nevertheless, Huskies are very good dogs, great with kids, very smart, well-behaved. the only dog i would consider getting other than a german shepherd, which is my favorite breed.

re: <GM Kramnik> and <Dortmund>

Did you know that he owns this tournament?

He won it in

1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2000, and 2001.

Jul-13-09  Trigonometrist: Hey <Jess>...

Did <Dom> send you the Arctic Tern I asked for last week at his forum?

If so do sent it to Mongolia...

Just whisper <Three> in the Tern's ears...:)

Jul-14-09  crawfb5: The University of Connecticut also has the Husky as a mascot: http://advance.uconn.edu/2001/01110...

Doreen would severely beat me if I failed to mention the UConn women are the current NCAA basketball champions and the coach will lead the USA team at the 2010 World Championship and the 2012 Olympics: http://www.uconnhuskies.com/sports/...

She lets nothing in the household interfere with game nights. Our old dog used to run over and bark at her when she'd get too amped up over the games. Our current girls have not quite picked up the same level of intensity during games (yet).
