Jul-29-09  achieve: <Match made in heaven> Book with the music, that is; I put the CD on a perma loop, and just cannot turn it off, nor stop reading (I mentioned the novel at Annie's).

Looks I'm in for another hour.

  jessicafischerqueen: <Niels> jazz jinx

I accidentally heard some jazz- just one horn actually- a most sombre, melancholy tone, a minor key melody= on a TV show soundtrack.

I tried find out what it was on GOOGLE but no luck.

Can you recommend some Jazz that is similar to that kind of description?

No words- maybe "quiet be-bob"? Something like Sketches of Spain maybe- but less happy

heh

Is there such a thing?

I tried on youtube for a while on my own last night, but I couldn't find this "kind" of jazz.

Jul-29-09  achieve: Quiet be-bop?? heh - but I get your drift...

Be-bop is quite fast and furious, mostly, but I think you'd like some languid, melancholic, contemplative horn or sax lines, with little accompaniment?

I will put together some recommendations, that I know will match your description, and will email them or post here, with a few links, so you can download the album(s) from TPB (Pirate Bay)... And surely I will be able to get some tube test material.

I been chugging ice water all day. My feet have swelled like two beached Sea Bass, toenails staring up at me like lifeless eyes.

Help!
