I never said that Konglish wasn't a language, I was referring to signage in which English is used more for aesthetic elements than to communicate a specific message. The December 8 entry of Engrish.com seems to be an instance of this. Again, I am not referring to any type of verbal communication. I was only talking about signage in which English is used as a design element. Lexically categorizing sentences that weren't made to function as literal communication IS a waste of time. It would be far more productive to be able to actually talk with the person who came up with the idea of the sign in the first place and learn what they were trying to achieve, and what their aesthetic motivations are.
