How many of you are familiar with <The Peruvian Immortal>?

Here is analysis of that great, and well known game, from a cool Australian kid:

I think she's Harry Potter's chess tutor. This lesson shows how to <j'adoube> without touching a piece -- just point and make it so. The pieces - poor bloody infantry - can do their own shuffling.

"They're breaking up my spell ... breaking it up ... and what else is there? ... what else have I got but that spell? ..."

Static, maybe.

Apr-11-10  chessmoron: <Jess> Have you seen Hot Tub yet? If not, I'll gave you a link.

What songs do you sing? Any Faure? Slave spirituals?

Have you heard Faure's <Pie Jesu>?

Not to be missed.

jessicafischerqueen: <Niels> I'll have to reply to you here to keep your chess page clean.

1. Yes Moffo is Boffo as my lawyer pointed out. <Technical Draw> introduced me to her via his Profile of high brow tunes

2. Peruvian Immortal can you make out the name of the player? I tried several times but couldn't, due to his outrageous Australian accent.

3. There is no three because I've forgotten and must scroll up.

4. Ah yes Ok great post on the <Scopes Monkey Trial II> page, I quoted it at the Cirque de la Lune.

jessicafischerqueen: <McLovin> thanks that's OK I know how to find torrents now gud!

I just haven't had time for TV or movies recently because for some reason I seem to be spending every single available minute researching chess history videos.

I will watch it however, and give you a report.

jessicafischerqueen: <Mad n' Naked> do you mean that free book you posted?

Yes I'm keen to read it but I've been obssessively studying chess history so I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

But I will.

  jessicafischerqueen: <playground player>

Thanks for the support- I can't stand that guy's insulting manner particularly with regard to <cormier>.

If he's going to get all huffy and play the "intellectual card" he should at least read a book or two first.

He publicly admitted that he doesn't read books, and gets all of his "information" from Wikipedia.

At least he's honest I'll give him that.

Honestly ignorant.

  jessicafischerqueen: <Travis> Goofy picture lol

Also, great posts you made yesterday on the <Granand Piano vs. Top Loaf> page.

I was going to cheer for both of them but I figured it's more fun to pick a side.

(Long may the World Champion prosper)

tks mr.

Apr-11-10  chessmoron: I stopped using torrents for new releases as I can watch videos without downloading.

jessicafischerqueen: <McLovin> you mean "streaming sites"?

I stopped using those due to the lower image quality.

The DVD-quality streaming sites take longer buffer on my computer than it does to download them from a torrent.

Also, in case you are wondering, it's illegal to watch copyrighted material in streaming format even if you didn't upload it.

Although the media companies have not yet gone after the "streaming sites."

If you mean a pay site, then never mind.

Apr-11-10  chessmoron: No, sites that have finished recordings through cam and such. Yes the quality is pretty bad but after two weeks, it updates to a better quality.
