This is why I shouldn't look at games before 6 AM... As far as the Mednis game goes, I think the one I posted is correct. It was from the federation magazine, published at the time. As I suggested in the post, I think Mednis made some alterations in the book version for instructional purposes. If you play over the full game, you will see White repeating moves at several points, which maybe doesn't make much sense today, but this was back when men were men, and we didn't need no steenkin' sudden death time controls.
