I would do a brief annotation but I don't have time. Two notes 1. Black was 1901 at the time of the victory and 2. The Knight sac was not sound! It was a move that was part intuition part desperation because I didn't like my position

jessicafischerqueen: Nice work <AJ> the collection looks FABULOUS.

Everyone check out <AJ's> new <The Loch Nezhmedtdinov Monster> games collection.

This one is concise but benefits greatly from that very conciseness, because four of the games have links to extensive analysis pages constructed by <Life Master AJ Goldsby>.

These analyses are simply not to be missed if you enjoy rigorous, enthusiastic, and eminently *human* investigations of great chess games.

<AJ> always says where a line came from and he delves deep in to the analytical history of each game.

Also, when <AJ> gives his own line he says so and when it's a computer assisted line he says so. So you are never in the dark.

In addition, each page includes a wealth of historical information and anecdotes that set the scene for each of these gems in the history of great attacking chess:

Aug-24-10  Travis Bickle: <jessicafischerqueen: QUESTION:

When did the Beatles get rich? When did they get really big money?>

Jess The Beatles were millionaires by 1965. They were "pound millionaires in 1964, at that time as you know the pound was less than the dollar. It's amazing how little the band recieved for record sales. A measily 8 cents a record when they were selling millions upon millions of records, 2 movies, 'A Hard Days Night' '64 & Help '65. In 1966 they recieved a raise to 39 cents per record sold. It makes you shake your head in wonder when artists like Prince, Michael jackson and I think Aerosmith signed record deals with Sony music inc. for Mega Millions! And they all wanted out of their contracts LOL!!

The Beatles Anthology project released in 3 installments, the 1st in late 1995 and the latter 2 in '96 at that time made at least 200 million dollars, leading Paul McCartney to say, "everybody was waiting to see who the next Beatles would be, and it turned out it was The Beatles". ; P P.S. here's some info from Time magazine circa Friday, Oct. 02, 1964.

<Tyler> White to move here- Instead of protecting your f-pawn with <14.g3>, you can pick up a pawn yourself, and make cheese out of the black king position, with <14.Bxh7+> here:

Picks up his Bishop (FORK) and you have a big edge here now.

Heh well he can't have expected this- good "shock and awe" Tyler- he crumbled under the perceived danger of his Kingside cracking up. You skeered him so bad he missed all opportunity for counterplay, of which he had a bunch-

Black wants to play <...Qa5+> as soon as he can, instead of fooping around with his naked King.

However, he didn't, and this makes your Knight sac similar to the kind <Tal> used to make, or <Nehzmetdinov>-

In the cold light of day we can discover if the sac is "sound" or not.

However, during the game you proved the sac was "sound" against this guy on this day- he panicked and fell apart.

Very nice scalp <Tyler>!!

You Blitzed with the free safety and his quarterback panicked, trying to run to safety instead of throwing the long one to his Wide receiver on the a5 square.

Aug-27-10  crawfb5: <Jess> I ran across this account of Fischer at the 1957 Junior while looking for something else. I wasn't sure if you'd seen it.

http://www.bobby-fischer.net/Bobby_...

There are other articles at the site. Check it out if you haven't already.

Aug-27-10  technical draw: Thanks for that article <crawfb5>. It's amazing Fischer's self confidence (some would call it arrogance). Najdorf's remark says it all.

(BTW Gil is pronounced more like heel or he-ill rather than jill)

Aug-27-10  Open Defence: I hope I dont have to get falsies for the video... I heard you only cast women with big BAZOOMBAS!
Aug-27-10  Open Defence: *wiki leaks*
Aug-27-10  crawfb5: <deffi> You don't know what magic Jess can do in editing. Really. I look quite human in the video, so don't fear the closeup. Besides, it's not the size of the set, it's what you do with the pieces.
Aug-27-10  technical draw: <Besides, it's not the size of the set, it's what you do with the pieces.>

Hmmm, that's close to violating guideline #1...

(but I'll steal it and use it later)

Aug-27-10  crawfb5: <TD> That will be $20.
