Oct-26-10  dakgootje: <Don't they start with towers of exponents and take it from there, like 9^(9^9)^9 ...?>

very similar to that yes. Works with different layers where each layer describes the amount of exponents in the following layer.

In this case, layer 1 is defined as 3. Therefore layer 2 has 3 exponents in its tower 3^3^3 aka 3^27 = 7.6 *10^12. layer 3 has a tower of 7.6*10^12 of 3's. Which is already quite a lot. And Grahams number is the 64th layer I think - perhaps 63.

<having two distinct and more-or-less simultaneous conversations with the same person in almost-real time in two different 'places' ... I wonder how many such channels a person could keep open? Five? Ten? 64?>

Can't test it now due to the time but supposedly it highly depends on the level of conversation. Similarly chesssimuls are only possible to be given at a much lower level than normally.

If you'd talk about your favorite type of nuts or the age-old question whether pirates or ninjas are better, then I suppose a maximum of.. 15? 20 perhaps?

On the other hand, if it reaches the depth of, say, You at your apex, then for me the maximum is about 0.19 ...

  Domdaniel: Pirates. Pirates doing Pilates.

I wish I understood why all the *really* word-sensitive people were either Dutch or female.

OK, or named Morgan. After the Pirate.

sigh.

Now you've done it- once <Dom> gets started with his "sums"....

We used to use it as an important method to distract him, but it's not a tool to be used lightly- more of a last resort normally.

In other news, you've reached page 777! With that, you have become the holy trinity as three persons in one Jesshead!

Perchance with your newgained superness you can now understand all dom's references or chrisowen!

Jess:

Thanks for the info.

I was not blaming you, just passing along the info. I thought it might make you feel better if you knew that you were not the only one who is the victim of a "SPAM attack."

God bless, take care and I hope you have a great week.

PS --- I am looking forward to your newest video ... don't keep me in suspense forever.

  jessicafischerqueen: Thanks <AJ>. You too!

I may be finished the newest project. I certainly don't feel like editing it any more.

However I'm going to leave it alone to "stew" for a few days just in case it wants one last look.

In the mean time I'm hard at work on several other video projects at the same time- in terms of researching and collecting materials.

Even Kasparov a gentleman and a genius said wen he died that some of the things he said were"offensive"...plz change ur name to "jessica Kasparov queen"....dignity comes before a chess player who only had a short reign...does no one agree with me here? Or am i madder than fischer himself?

jessicafischerqueen: <Markcf> there is only one criterion worth mentioning about any chess player.

Is he an assassin?

If the answer is yes, then they will create a legacy worth preserving.

Chess is a war game. Case closed.

You will never see a picture of me on the internet.

Your fake biography, or your fictional chess ability, is of no interest to me.

jessicafischerqueen: Thanks <Shish Krabab> I'm just in the mode for some Shipov-related reading. I saw you had to explain the difference between "bullet" and "correspondence" chess today.

???

Nobody is shy to post their opinions on all matters chess at this website, it seems- no matter how ridiculous.

And that's just the tip of the iceberg. I know for a fact there's a member who typed the word "quack" over ten thousand times in a row into their own forum in order to boost the page count.
