Nov-28-10  BishopofBlunder: <My Dear Queen>,

Your <Bishop> recommends chicken soup and lots of rest. Mostly chicken soup. I guess it couldn't hurt to do what the doctor says either.

Two aspirin and a shot of bourbon never did me no harm neither.

All my love and prayers,

Dec-01-10  twinlark: Hi Jess

Sorry to hear you're not well and I hope you've just about recovered.

This won't make you feel better, but here it is in case you haven't seen this clip of Tom Flanagan calling for Assange's assassination on CBC News Network: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bqtI... It mirrors some unofficial but like sentiments expressed by some prominent US right wingers.

Dec-04-10  madlydeeply: From "San Antonio 1972" written by David Levy and Bent Larsen (who apparently was not in top form because he was too busy analyzing games for this book...)

from a chapter written by Sherry Rittenhouse.... which i guess means she's a co author as well...but female so who cares...HA just joking:

on page 27, referring to the last round when Karpov settled for a draw with Mecking and a tie for first place:

"....yet to others it was the appearance of BOBBY FISCHER, current world champion and a frequently outspoken critic of Soviet chess, that triggered the Russian's quick draws and withdrawal from the tournament hall".

Damn he should have been there the whole time!

Also...'Nuck alert! Duncan Suttles was also present, scored an asskicking 5-2 losing to Gligoric and Karpov but running the bottom half of the table.

Dec-04-10  madlydeeply: Reuben Fine's book "a passion for chess" is full of juicy gossip! At a tournament in Moscow, he commented on Russian chess fans, who would boo grandmasters when they committed blunders...the booed Levenfish's opponent when he didn't catch a Levenfisch blunder hanging a piece! HA.

He was pleased to report that he recieved a standing ovation for this game

  kingscrusher: Hi Jessica

You made a correct guess to the person's identity in one of my recent videos. But really it was the principle of being disturbed by a spectator that interested me rather than moaning about it now - 15 years too late. Anyway, well done on the correct guess :) Please forgive me for removing this comment guess and other people who guessed right as well.

I have put your channel on the Chessworld.net channel chooser at:

http://www.chessworld.net/chessclub...

I put the comments when you hover over "J":

"Incredibly active kibitzer at chessgames.com and keen chess historian" - please let me know a what sentences to put instead if you prefer.

Best wishes
Tryfon
