jessicafischerqueen: Your over there regimen sounds salubrious! Interestingly, in Canada we save time by spelling "music and poker" as "moker." Initially we spelled it "poomus" but that sounded a little too declasse, even for us...

Jan-06-11  Travis Bickle: <jessicafischerqueen> Jess from a large page on the record Band On The Run here is the official lineup on the album cover.

Three of these nine comprised Paul, Linda and fellow Wings bandmate Denny Laine, the other six were celebrities certainly recognisable to the British observer, two or three of them known also beyond the UK's shores. Sleevewise, left to right, those trying to Run numbered Michael Parkinson (the journalist best known for his Saturday-night TV chat show), Kenny Lynch (the singer, occasional actor and TV wagster), Paul, James Coburn (the American actor - he happened to be in Britain at the time filming The Internecine Project), Linda, Clement Freud (the gourmet, raconteur and wit who went into politics), Christopher Lee (the actor best known for his horror movie roles), Denny Laine, and John Conteh (the boxer from Liverpool who went on to become World Light-Heavyweight champion).

Jan-08-11  Lennonfan: <travis bickle> as you can see from my username on this forum,i too am a huge beatles fan, living only 50 miles from liverpool, lennon being my favourite obviously....but i doubt paul had miss fischerqueen in mind when writing the short ditty 'her majesty'as at the end of the first line he sings'she doesn't have a lot to say'!!! It appears miss fischerqueen does have plenty to say but about bobby fischer, whom i considered to be an offensive man with disturbed and even more offensive views on everything he just about ever spoke on,so comparing 'bobby'to the beatles is absurd....in any sense... But you certainly have a good taste in music

<but i doubt paul had miss fischerqueen in mind >

Well, he should have.

Jan-08-11  hms123: <Lennonfan> I'm not the least offended. I just have a strange sense of humor. Very strange.

  jessicafischerqueen: Thanks <Ohio>-

Hello- <playground player>

<Ohio> kindly reminded me of this. I'm sorry to have accused you of posting that "Magnus was gay" at the Kibbutz Cafe- that indeed was not you who posted the material.

It was another member with a similar name, and in my haste I thought/assumed it was you. This fellow's post was later deleted by the administrators. I was subsequently informed of the member's real ID name in an email I received from <Daniel Freeman>.

As it turned out, the name wasn't even that similar to yours, so you needn't worry that anyone has tried to "clone" your name and discredit you for some reason.

At any rate, I'm very sorry I libeled you. And I did do that, literally.

Best regards,
Jess
