jessicafischerqueen: Your over there regimen sounds salubrious! Interestingly, in Canada we save time by spelling "music and poker" as "moker." Initially we spelled it "poomus" but that sounded a little too declasse, even for us...

jessicafischerqueen: Thanks <Doggimus> I have to say I was pleasantly surprised that relatives of some of my documentary subjects approved.

In the back of my mind I've been half-expecting some relative to sue me.

JINX I just now sent you an EMU.

Jan-21-11  pulsar: <JFQ> After a long while, I've finally come around to watching your videos, and I'm excited! I'm starting on Rubinstein links above.

chancho: <Jess> SCTV, I was thinking about that show a few minutes ago. Now you are going back to the early 80's. I checked the cast list on IMDB, and it has Catherine O'Hara, Rick Moranis, Martin Short, Eugene Levy, and of course John Candy. Quite a group.

  Domdaniel: <Jess> On history ...

Big subject, innit?

Srsly, I found an ad in a 2001 zine for a series of DVDs (CDs? Videos? Whatever) on historical chess topics. The one advertised was about Bogolyubov/ Bogoljubow, - including 40+ pics, 1400+ games, samples from books, etc.

It was a CD Rom, by Victor Charushin, published by Pickard in the USA. One in a series on 'famous grandmasters'...

You know this stuff? Did they release more?

jessicafischerqueen: <H> thanks for the heads up- Seems like a quality production, especially since HBO will pick it up.

HBO's product is so far above any other channel it's almost ridiculous, the "Cadillac" of channels.

I'll be watching this new Bobby documentary soon as it hits HBO which I have access to.

jessicafischerqueen: There's also tons of free third party download-upload sites.

That's how SWEENY sends me his new records of which he just made one.

Jan-22-11  Open Defence: a 2 min track is about 2 mb, and the photos are about 3 mb each, i guess i need to resize the photos and probably reduce the quality slightly but still your mail box will be inundated with attachments of about 15 mb in total each time i send you stuff (in separate mails of course)

jessicafischerqueen: Yes, I do. Do you have your existing work posted at your Chess Blog?

I'd like to listen to all of what you've already done or as much as you want people to hear.

Jan-22-11  Open Defence: simpler would be to upload these somewhere where you could download from at your leisure that way your mail box is not clouded up

jessicafischerqueen: Don't worry about number of emails from my end- I don't care about that.

I don't think you should reduce photo resolution to save time there- you want the best resolution photos possible.
