| Jan-04-14 | | MostlyAverageJoe: Hey, <JFQ>, I noticed that you claimed a copyright to the phrase "Happy Nude Deer". The first recorded instance on chessgames.com is here: jessicafischerqueen chessforum. Alas, prior usage dates from the 2005/2006 transition: http://idess.deviantart.com/art/Hap... and hence it is <© Idess 2006> MAJ, the sleuthing spoilsport |

Thanks for dropping in with that valuable copyright information. I certainly don't want to get sued by anyone from the pesky <Deviant Art> site. That said, my "first use" at cg.com was, as <Boomie> pointed out a few days ago, actually a mistaken mangling of his patented "Hippy Nude Deer." You see <Tim> is *actually* a Hippy, and if I'm not mistaken he recently won an important <pun contest> against <crawfb5> and <hms123> in Howard's forum- though I'm embarrassed to say I still don't know how to make those "exact post" links you guys all seem to be able to do. Here's the "general link" to <hms123> forum: User: hms123 |

Thank you for passing me the (not so) Top Secret Kibbutz Launch Code! I am going in now to learn and practice. |
|
| Jan-04-14 | | MostlyAverageJoe: You're welcome.
BTW, here's prior art to <Boomie>'s alleged patent: http://davibear.livejournal.com/475... -- predating his usage by some 4 years. |

| Jan-04-14 | | Boomie: ->
A quick search of the kibbitzim found jessicafischerqueen chessforum as the first use of the now classic "Hippy Nude Deer". To prove that I'm a real hippy, just by my best selling book "I'm a Hippy and So Can You". BTW - To copy a link to a specific post I do a Search Kibbles and then Copy Shortcut. |

I am shocked and dismayed to discover copyright infringements on LiveJournal where not so coincidentally, I have an account. Little did I know that my innocent chats with a go professional was being monitored by claim jumpers. |

Whee! Thanks <MAJ>-
Here is a post from the middle of the infamous "pun contest" I referred to in Howard's forum- the winning pun (by Boomie) in my view: hms123 chessforum |

Weren't you also involved in the notorious <Google Earth> "Full Frontal Rooftop Sunbathing" incident as well? |

Thanks <MAJ>- I won't forget such a valuable lesson. Are you a teacher in your spare time from your job as Captain of a US nuclear missile silo? |

| Jan-04-14 | | Boomie: <Winning Pun>
I won't take any more credit than I deserve. But you have to love puns about puns almost as much as spoonerisms about spoons. |

 | | jessicafischerqueen: <Tim> yes, but in your defence, without government oversight what choice did you have? On the bright side, the incident did make for a peppy story in the otherwise moribund <Blaine Post-Intelligencer (earlybird edition)>. |

| Jan-04-14 | | Boomie: <Let's Play Jess>
Yes. I needed to requalify for hippy creds and we all know how they like to walk around in the altogether. Next stop, magic mushrooms. |

 | | jessicafischerqueen: <Time Bomb>
heh I remember picking those in High School. They grow all over the school fields in suburban Vancouver. Or they used to at any rate. Looks like I picked a bad decade to give up mushrooms. September-November was the season. Sometimes we'd drive out to a farm in Langley or somewheres and risk a farmer's field. I was only present at one lamentable "Get orf my land" incident. I had a fistfull of mushrooms at the time so I briefly considered yelling "OUT OF MY COLD DEAD HANDS," but he had a rifle. So no. |

|
| Jan-04-14 | | Shams: <jfq> <I had a fistfull of mushrooms at the time so I briefly considered yelling "OUT OF MY COLD DEAD HANDS," but he had a rifle.> Yes, I've heard stories of people getting shot with rock salt. Skagit and Whatcom county farmers are not hippie-friendly! |

Good Heavens.
Well as I often remind <Tim>, on "30 Rock" Alec Baldwin counsels "Never go to a second location with a hippie."
HAHAHAHA |

| Jan-04-14 | | Shams: <jfq> Born in Bellingham! (We've bonded over this before, but never mind that.) I grew up on Lummi Island, a tiny island between Bellingham and Orcas, now somewhat famous for the restaurant on our neighbor's property. |

You are in prime Sasquatch country.
Any sightings? I'm not sure how "accurate" the 39,000 youtube Sasquatch videos might be. When I'm home I always keep a weather eye, just in case. |
