Wow <Liverpool vs Villareal> leg two and they did their fans proud again. Jurgen Klop with his war face is surely a good fit and I expect an improved position in the EPL table next year.

<Liverpool> is in the Europa league final and Anfield paid homage through the last 5 minutes of the match with a stirring round of "You'll Never Walk Alone." The greatest football song ever for one of the greatest English clubs in football history.

Here is Anfield singing the <Liverpool> anthem before they dispatched <Dortmund> in the previous round: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j72...

I'd say that Liverpool's spectacularly exciting defeat of Klop's old club <Dortmund> was the most significant international result for an English club this year. It was an even better result than you might imagine, because although <Dortmund> competed in the Europa league, on this year's form they are surely of UEFA champion's league quality- they were rightly considered overwhelming favorites to win the Europa league. Due to their high placing in the Bundesliga, <Dortmund> should indeed be back in the UEFA champion's competition next year.

As will <Liverpool> if they can beat <Sevilla> in the Europa league final!!

Amen to that! With the Liverpool contingent, plus the Leicester City and Tottenham players on fire this season we just have to be one of the favourites. I'm going to the Russia game btw, just a quick ferry over to France. I'm gonna go check out the odds now because if I can get anything better than 5/1 on England winning it I'm going to put a tenner on it. And you've seriously watched more football than me this season!

May-09-16  User not found: https://mobet.williamhill.com/!andr...

8/1 at Billy Hill!! Excuse me while I place my £10 wager ma'am, lol. We're 4th favourites after France, Germany and Spain.

May-09-16  User not found: Right I'm off to the bookies. 300/1 on Hungary to win their group, 2/1 on Kane being the top scorer and 7/1 on England to win the competition. I'm going to put a fiver on an accumulator but I'm also gonna put a fiver on the same as above but with Mueller as top scorer (He's German, they always score goals. Look what they did to that shambles of a Brazilian team in 2014?) and a fiver on just England to win. Basically if England go out in the first round I've lost £15, lol. But 300/1 on Hungary to win their group?? Worth a flutter given what Leicester City just did.
May-09-16  User not found: Well I just popped up to Ladbrokes and got 7/1 on England. Lad-Brokes! Makes sense, lol. That's why I usually go to another bookies, I can't stand all those virtual screens. And I <definitely> didn't see the Hungarian 300/1 odds but I'll do all that at the regular bookies tomorrow where I can just fill out the betting slip old school.

It's gonna be a good summer, I can just feel it :)

<Sir Edward Gibbon's "Decline and Fall of the Ape Empire">

Without doubt. It's also possibly the first, and certainly the best, "prog rock" track ever. It also predates Pete Townshend's "mini rock operas."

A song of firsts brah.

Here at :24 of this video you can see Liverpool manager <Jürgen Klop's> infamous "war face" as he leads a performance of the "Haka," the terrifying Maori war dance:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q4a...

He "war" that face for 90 minutes during leg two of <Liverpool vs Villareal>. Rumor has it that the Villareal manager peed his pants...

Just popped in to show you this, Jess. 31 years ago today I went to a football game and was lucky enough to come home. 56 people died. I didn't get out of the ground for hours and my parents thought me and my cousin were dead because it was blanket news coverage and the body count kept going up. I was supposed to be in the Stand that day but because someone was late in taking us we ended up in the Kop. A truly horrific tragedy that will never be forgotten in England.

RIP 56 X

You bet it is! I copied it off a chat at the TCEC. You, too, can be a hero! Just copy the face and paste it into a kibitz and, voila!
