May-22-17  User not found: Just caught 10 mins of MOTD, not the football but Lineker and Shearer summing up the season and what they said made me KNOW I made the right decision to boycott the Premier League games this season...

"Harry Kane is as good as Benzema, easily!"

"Yeah. The way he's been playing he's just below "The two" (Messi and Ronaldo)!".

Puts on a pair of boots, pulls on an England's shirt, plays like a Swindon town reserve!! Apparently he's scored 30 goals in 31 starts... Can't score against Iceland!! Arggghh :)

Howay <UHF> lol yes I also watched that episode. To be fair <Kane> has improved again this year and he's clearly better than <Benzema> who has lost a step in recent seasons.

<Benzema's> on his way down but <Kane's> on his way up, at least at the moment.

<Real Madrid> really put the stamp on their season though. <Ronaldo> too.

Jun-09-17  Travis Bickle: Hi Jess, here's my favorite classical piece of all time!

Beethoven: Symphony 9, Op. 125
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jeO...

The Kool synthesized excerpt they played on top 40 radio in the 60's when I was a wee lad is here @ 17:18 to 22:58.. ; P https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PHz...

Jun-09-17  Travis Bickle: Ms Teacha, I have a theory.. I think Lennon is related to Ludwig van & Paul Mac is related to Amadeus.. Combined together they grooved out some sweet music!! ; P

Mozart - Jupiter #41 IV. Molto allegro (Bohm)

I'm certainly not going to say you're wrong aboot that <trombone>. You sure know how to pick the classicals.

My father used to play the whole Jupiter symphony on vinyl when he was depressed, so your selection brings me some nostalgia.

Sublime music.

Well England in the finals of the Under 20 World Cup!

That kid who scored four goals so far for England belongs to Liverpool. I hope they play him next season, he looks pretty good to me.

Now the final against the tiny African republic of Togo, unless I've misread the schedule...

As former US President George W Bush made abundantly clear, when speaking, the correct pronunciation is "newkyalur"

<Hozza> no can do brah. Only one person makes the rules in this forum, where you will always receive a welcome with open arms.

Forum title I guess I just got overexcited about <England Under 20s> looking like they might actually produce an English football victory in an international tournament- for a change.

<GoodAntichrist> lol yes that one is priceless, no doubt.

I was referencing one of my favorite characters from John Kennedy Toole's <A Confederacy of Dunces>- the black janitor who Ignatius "befriends," in his way. The janitor was obsessed with the cold war and "nuclea bums," as he put it.

Favorite line from the novel-

<Ignatius>: "Canned food is an abomination."

<Hozza> thanks mate. I changed my forum title to <England Under 20s> now.

"A Confederacy of Dunces" would be a great name for a rock band! Or, for my forum!

Maybe <harrylime> would be so kind as to come over to my forum and help me turn it into such a thing.

Just Bantz, <harry>!
