<Hozza> Well I finally caught up on my footy so I've read your post closely now.
Fine analysis as usual. I don't disagree with anything you said. I'll be back later to say a bit more on your topics and add a few more of my own.
Just a few quick observations on <Spurs> for the moment- <Waynama> and <Serge Aurier> just aren't good enough and they are particularly poor when <Waynama> is playing the right side of midfield and <Aurier> is playing right wing back. They are both strong defenders and they always put in a shift but that's not good enough by itself.
They both have lead feet- they constantly give the ball away, their passing is atrocious and neither one of them can hit a decent cross to save their life.
Whilst watching <Spurs v Palace> I lost count of the number of times the commentator said "The cross has to be better" every single time <Aurier> attempted to hit the ball into the box from the right side.
One more thing- I understand the value of <Lamella> and I understand the logic of starting him to bring him up to full match fitness but <Son Heung min> is much the better player and especially given his recent form he should be starting every game- not <Lamella>. <Lamella> should be brought on as a sub for <Son>, not the other way round.
It's all about quality around the box. Can you score a goal or an assist there? <Waynama> scored on a special, special hit from 25 yards out a while back, but he might never do that again the rest of his life. Normally he is next to useless around the box.
<Aurier> is completely useless around the box. On the attack, <Lamella> is a cut above both <Aurier> and <Waynama> but he's nowhere near as good as <Son>.
I think <Pocket Chess> has made a mistake bringing in <Aurier> into the squad in the first place, and when <Trippier> recovers from the knock he got the other day he goes in on right wing back and we should NEVER have to watch <Aurier> squandering chance after chance again.
<Aurier> around the box reminds me of a 16 year old kid fumbling around the back of his girl's jumper because he has no idea how to get her bra off.
