 | | kutztown46: <Golden Executive: <kutztown46> your Forum Head it´s pretty user friendly. I really apreciate if you can give me some hint to learn how to do that kind of links that exactly matches with posts.> It is easy to do for any premium member. Every comment posted at chessgames.com has a specific unique identification, although we don't normally see the identifications. To create a link to any given message, you must use the Search Kibitzing capability, which you will find in the Members Area. For example, suppose I want to create a link to the message you posted in my forum yesterday. I typed in "Golden Executive" and clicked on Search. This brings up a complete list of every message at chessgames.com which meets the search criteria, sorted from newest to oldest. When you find the message you want to create a link to, position your mouse on the left margin where it says where the message was posted, in this case "kutztown46 chessforum". Right click and select "copy shortcut". That copies the unique message identification into your clipboard, and you paste the shortcut into your message or forum header. The shortcut looks like:
http ://www.chessgames.com/perl/kibitzing?kid=U322&reply-
=1577
except I added a space after "http".
If you paste it correctly without the extra space, it resolves to: kutztown46 chessforum I hope that helps. |
