Oct-04-10  thegoodanarchist: <chancho> I think your post highlights the difference in evaluation of the same position depending on which engine is used.

For example, after

<kutztown46: ... 10...Ba6 11. Nbd2 Rc8 12. Rac1 Nh5 13. Be3 Nhf6 14. Bg5 h6 15. Bxf6 Bxf6>

my engine disagrees with <k-town> and prefers 15...Nxf6 (just barely) over 15...Bxf6.

However, it is not deep enough into the ply for me to fully embrace 11.Nbd2.

In other words, I still might change my vote if something really convincing is presented.

Oct-08-10  Garech: Hi buddy, like you I am checking out 12...h6 as from <frogbert's> analysis I think white is doing pretty well after 12...Nh6 13.Be3 Nhf6 14.Bg5 h6 15.Bxf6 etc. Will post what I find here in due course. All the best!

after 16…Qe8, 17.Qe2 looks too good to allow…! 17…bxc4 is forced, and now comes 18.b4 Rc8 with a good edge to white:

After forcing 17. Qb3 although Qb2 may be better. Notice the queen goes to b2 on move 26.

At least we don't get triple goose eggs here. Of course the line has to be scoured for improvements.
