Uncovering the Truth About M61MG

Aug-03-09  JustToClarify: PP: I don't think Trice has the patience to create an account and have the account be an established account with a lot of interests in non-Trice things before using the account as a sockpuppet. In your case, we can clearly demonstrate 2 years of usage without talking about anything Trice-related, followed by a continued interest in non-Trice things.

He actually tried to establish some credibility with one of his socks on the Wikipedia; he had the account try to add some stuff to a Wikipedia article that had nothing to do with Trice; the change was so idiotic, it was promptly reverted.

chancho: Rob is getting smeared here as well:

http://www.gobignetwork.com/profile...

Aug-03-09  JustToClarify: I guess Trice realizes, at this point, Gothic Chess has no future, since that page used to be about how Gothic Chess was the future of Chess.

JTC

Aug-03-09  Colonel Mortimer: Maybe <Ed Trice> should stop dragging his knuckles over the issue and call it Neolithic Chess
Aug-03-09  blacksburg: <Rob is getting smeared here as well:>

hehehe i like how Trice's description of his company is basically just <Rob is a big liar>. probably not going to be good for business, Ed.

Aug-03-09  A Karpov Fan: Whoever put this forum up THANK YOU!

I can't believe I was just talking to this Ed Trice character and thought for a moment how rational he sounded.

Now I put two and two together to make a dirt bag.

Nobody involved with My 61 Memorable Games can have any respect for chess or the late great Bobby Fischer.

And lo and behold a quick search uncovers that these porky pies do always come in a multipack.

And in this case it is the mindbendingly ridiculous variety.

Aug-04-09  sharro: <JTC: Sharro: Why do you believe PP is a Trice sock?>

Because the conversations between PP and ET on ET's page are too contrived. No one except Trice will talk for weeks to Trice about nothingness.

Also recently PP was recently talking a lot about how Trice "probably feels".

Perhaps Trice just wants someone to like him and agree with him even if its a facade and a sockpuppet that is supposedly anti-Trice.

Also, didn't PP bring up that "Godin principle" or whatever its called? Just the kind of obscure intellectual crap that Trice would know about, and not surprisingly, the same thing was mentioned on one of the other sockpuppets on the invision board which is run by Trice)

Chancho mentioned PP has "Trice like vibes". I get the same feeling and others agree.

I do concede it is unlike Trice to have that much patience to post under another account since 2007. On the other hand, sockpuppeting and deception are Mr. Trice's specialty.

Not that it really matters one way or another!

Aug-04-09  robmtchl: From the "Go Big Network":

<You are now chatting with 'Go ♗IG Customer Support'

Cameron: Thanks for contacting the Go BIG chat. What can I help you with today?

Rob Mitchell: I was told that someone posted libelous content about me at your site. Can you confirm Ed Trice of gothic chess' posts? His email is Gothicchessinfo@aol.com

Cameron: I was informed on Mr. Trice's posting earlier today and have went ahead and removed his profile from our website.

Rob Mitchell: thank you very much! You have been a big help. Do you have a screen saver of his post for my attorney?

Cameron: Unfortunately no we don't.>

Aug-04-09  blacksburg: hehehe they <did> remove his profile, hehehe giggle giggle giggle
Aug-04-09  SugarDom: Is M61MG Wrestler and Jessicafischerqueen the same person...

By the way the so called "gothic chess" was Capablanca's idea or similar idea 100 years ago, isn't it?

Aug-04-09  Jim Bartle: Trice and Capablanca are the same person?
Aug-04-09  PinnedPiece: <RM>You have never requested the admins or <M61MG Wrestler> to remove the posts of <Ed Trice> beginning June 17 (P.26) that contain his often-posted links...AND there are a lot of excellent rebuttals including your own on those pages--unlike what can be done on the <ET> chessforum.

I point this out for two reasons: 1) As a directory in case any new visitors come by this page attracted to these accusations, and 2) because you should be aware they certainly can be removed....

.

Aug-04-09  PinnedPiece: <sharro: Not that it really matters one way or another!>

! * sigh of relief * !

Aug-05-09  Jim Bartle: Let's welcome "Shoelaces," who made his first post today, praising Trice for his great work and attacking all of us who try to bring the great man down.

chancho: Using sockpuppets to defend oneself.
Pathetic.
Aug-05-09  Jim Bartle: Sorry, piggy, I don't understand what you're referring to.

chancho: <Jim> I'm referring to the Master of sockpuppetry.

Mr Trice.

Aug-05-09  blacksburg: if the was the <Master>, he'd be a lot better at it, and wouldn't get busted instantly. don't give him so much credit.
Aug-05-09  Jim Bartle: he deserves a giant EEEE for effort, though.

chancho: Give him credit? Heavens to Betsy, what a terrible idea. ;-)
Aug-05-09  MageOfMaple: Hurray for Shoelaces! Now there's a sockpuppet who really challenges our preconceptions! And keeps our shoes from falling off.

In other news - American journalists in North Korea freed! User "Bootstraps" credits Trice.

Aug-05-09  Jim Bartle: Re-reading shoelaces' post, I think it needs to be re-posted here. It's such a classic, loaded with deception and straw men. (Nobody's arguing the book doesn't exist, you dummy! We just say Fischer is not the author.) And who the heck is the "flaccid clown" he's referring to?

"@Mr. Trice,
I've enjoyed the discussion board regarding Fischer's new book, titled, #My 61 Memorable Games, here, for folks interested in OBJECTIVE discussion (http://z3.invisionfree.com/TheFisch...). Now there's no way it's a hoax, with photos from all over the USA. Twitter has more photos, even one from Japan!

It's amazing that they BLAST you over here every time you try to discuss a legit question such as the signing of the contracts. I, too, wonder what fortunes were lost over such a miserably-botched enterprise. I won't take any sides over the nearly $40,000, but IMHO, that flaccid clown's TOTAL FAILURE is the central issue!

The World Championship Gothic Chess Match COULD HAVE, WOULD HAVE, and SHOULD HAVE taken place years before Bobby passed. But it didn't. WHY NOT? How could such incompetent impotence be unveiled over such a simple task as getting a couple of signatures? Was it sheer jealousy?? IMHO that entire thing sounds like a grand con job against you. So there ya go! It's time to take the question to 'Poenicus eunuchus'. Wonder when the rest of them will get on board? ;-)"

Aug-05-09  Colonel Mortimer: <Ed Trice> obviously believes he needs to tie up a few loose ends but instead offers the same old shoestring arguments. This is what happens when someone acts their shoe size. He would be better off 'lacing' his medication with some truth serum then we wouldn't have to put the boot in so often. For the time being he keeps putting his foot in the proverbial. His lies could definitely benefit from a little more polish.
Aug-05-09  Jim Bartle: I fear the consequences of the chemical reaction from combining Ed Trice and truth serum.
