Nobody here cares what have been said and done, but some do care how we behave in this global village and I do remember how often you have treated newcommers so well on this site and in other ways have given valuable inspiration to others and I dont wont you to end up in a corner were many member have lost their initial respect about you. Smile Tony ! I am shure you can still manage, put your verbal gun aside and realise we dont live in a westernmovie but we are all here in flesh and blood as behind every avatar there is a human with feelings just like your self. I am not asking you to marry frogbert, just leave him alone or perhaps take his offer about contacting him via e-mail.I am shure you also know as a doctor that it is communication that solves the problems and not running away with the head in the clouds. I can almost guarentee you that you will feel pride if you swallow your pride/anger or whatever and take the more peacefull road.Same pride as someone who quits the cigarettes,gambling and the like. It is actually easy to create enemypictures but letting them go is actually something ells.But it can be done.And the choice is yours.Do you wanna be a bra or a star ;). If it is too difficult to do on your own I could easy imagine frogbert would be willing to let someone mediate e.g. user <once> who has professionel skills in this department. That was all for today Tony,and remember I am not taking side in the story between you and frogbert but I am only talking as a member of this site who wants it to work as well as possible. So let us focus on the now and move on

The main reason why I had not been around for a while was that my girlfriend had been very ill for the last couple of months. So, I've spent most of my time taking care of her. She doesn't have anyone else, and neither do I (except for my CG.com friends). It has been pretty hard and stressful, and all that on top of my "own" problems. If it is true that good things tend to come in bunches, then it must also be true about the bad ones. But things are better now. Sheila seems to be quite resilient, and is most likely out of a real danger. |

But I am glad to hear it seems to go in the right direction and I send her all of the best wishes and your self too.Being in your shoes must also have been hard!? And I do recall 6 years ago when my wife had breastcancer how hard it was for me too.But OTOH there is and was something rewarding in it too.(She is seemingly healthy to day and is doing very fine in here daily life).So supporting her in these times could also be agift to yourself though it doesnt always fell like this..
In the meantime we are privelledged to
have CG and a lof of chess going one(Except for Anand-Gelfand(:See you down the road old friend and feel free to drop by at any time ! |

The necessary procedures were painful and exhausting. She has lost a lot of weight and is weak, but at the same time surprisingly cheerful! The recovery, of course, will take time. You a quite right about this rewarding aspect of the experience. For both. Her and I have been very close for years, and are even so much more now. "He who comforts another, doesn't feel his own pain." |

A game like today (the rossolimo) makes it all the waiting worth and in general I like the match,especially the live broad from Moscow with the comments from the top GM´s.I like to learn and enjoy in this way.Chances are 60-40% in the favor of Vishy in my humble oppinion.
