WannaBe: <malthrope> For that category, I actually re-counted 3 times, before I finally announced the winner; and yes, <jessicafischerqueen> is correct in the fractional vote counting.
Dec-23-08  square dance: congrats to <KingG> on his well deserved caissar.

as <dom> and <jess> both imply several people would have been worthy winners including, but not limited to everyone they both mentioned. (what, no nomination for http://www.chessgames.com/perl/ches...?! :-P) its nice to see one of cg's more underappreciated members get recognized though.

  jessicafischerqueen: <MannBee>

er... <Open Defence> not only won <most constructive>, but she did by a wide margin:

<4.25> votes by my count.

Not that I think <Brankat> wouldn't make a more than worthy winner.

but this year it's <Deffi>...

Unless there has been a <coup d'etat> in your forum?

  jessicafischerqueen: Correction that's

<5.25> votes for <Open Defence>- an even wider margin than on my first count.

I demand a recount!!

Mrs. Governor of Florida

Dec-23-08  Open Defence: I demand we hang <Chad>!!!

jessicafischerqueen: hahahah <Deffi> and now you are lobbying further for <funniest kibbutzer>, to "double up" this year like <Malthrope>...

Well I nominated you for funniest Kibbutzer and I always vote for my nominee, except when I fail to do so.

So you'll get my vote. Subject to <force majeur>, such as being offered a substantial bribe by <technical draw>, for example.

Mrs. I Can be Bought

Dec-23-08  Open Defence: did I mention we are roasting a leg of Dwae Ji for Christmas ? although it isnt entirely kosher for Festivus

WannaBe: Here is what I have...

<Open Defence> got full votes from: <ragh>, <Eyal>, <hms123> and 1/4 from <Valiant>

<brankat> got full votes from: <TheAlchemist>, <Switchingquylthulg>, <Akavall>, and 1/3 from <malthrope>

That's 3.33333 to 3.25

Who did I miss in the count?

Dec-23-08  Open Defence: this is embarassing for me to point out but what the hell

<Domdaniel>

Dec-23-08  Open Defence: geez this is wierd heh!

WannaBe: Yaaaar, crap, I did miss it, why can't <Domdaniel> follow everyone else's format? (highlight the name, or not hide the voting inside of some Hemingwayesque paragraphs?)
Dec-23-08  Open Defence: then he wouldn't be the <Major Domo> heh!

but I feel awkward now.... geez

  jessicafischerqueen: My correction was wrong--

It's <4.25> for <Deffi> giving her the win.

I vote we strip <DomDaniel> of his BEST WRITTEN POST Caissar on the grounds, that, while certainly written well, they don't use enough <> thingies.

WannaBe: Congratulations to <KingG> and <Open Defence> a.k.a. nee <Red October> for winning their Caissar.

This is a modified post of a previous (deleted) post.

Dec-23-08  Open Defence: <I vote we strip <DomDaniel>> preposterous!!! think of the children!! think of the Bishops!!!
Dec-23-08

Domdaniel: Oops, sorry about that. At least it was only a Hemingwayesque paragraph. Some of my Pynchonesque paragraphs go on for pages ...

I'll follow <the> rules <in> future, Mr Wabbit.

"If JFQ wants to strip Domdaniel there are places for that kind of thing ..."

WannaBe: <Domdaniel> No biggie, <I> should have read each post carefully... =)
Dec-23-08  malthrope: <WannaBe: <malthrope> For that category, I actually re-counted 3 times, before I finally announced the winner>

Right <WannaBe> -- as responded back to <JFQ> I was fully satisfied with her 'fractional' explanation answer. :)

Dec-23-08  Open Defence: maybe we should have a category of <Honorary Buttinsky>

I am sure I would win

Dec-23-08  malthrope: Have the final calculations of "Most Constructive" been finalized and concluded? This post by <WannaBe> was confusing...

<WannaBe: Here is what I have...

Who did I miss in the count?>

Actually, that's 3.25 to 3.33333 (not the other way around). What gives? (is it per chance the hidden vote by <Domdaniel> in his Hemingwayesque paragraph and also <JFQ>'s revised calculations?). <totally confused>

Just curious... :)

Happy Holiday's :^)

Dec-23-08  malthrope: Ah yes! See it now this is what <WannaBe> missed...

<Domdaniel: Meanwhile, I'd like to cast a vote for Open Defence aka Red October (aka Saint Deffi the Wise). For contributions to the construction industry, or whatever. Thank you.>

Congrats <Open Defence> :))

Great leader in the Constuction <CG.com> industry! ;)

PS: I really need to proof read my short posts! ~lol~
