WannaBe: In case I forgot, congrats to them Lady Bruins. =)) U. Mich (69-63) won, but the last spread I saw was -6.5, so if you took UConn w/ spread, you got very lucky, if you bet on them U. Mich, I feel bad; the O/U was 148.5

WannaBe: <CIO> LOL. I remember those mems... <chancho> North by Norwest, totally agree, the audiences know that the plane scene was filmed earlier and played on a screen behind. It was still drama. Same thing with the Mt. Rushmore chase scene.

WannaBe: ¡Olé! ¡Olé! this is what I see for "¡Olé! ¡Olé!" (game of the day Mar-13-2026) I also know this issue have been around for a while, and it's not that important, in IT term, it is a level 'C', cosmetic fix. But I just wish to report it again. Can CG.com unify this ...

WannaBe: <FSR> March 11 is his birthday, and usually PoD is chosen from the birth date of the player. So unless CG.com decides to change the algorithm on how PoD is decided. We will randomly get "undesired" player(s).

Aug-20-13  Helios727: WannaBe: to answer your question that I did not follow up on, I use Mozilla Firefox. Alt-F does not cause a word search and Control-F just switches the sides of the playing pieces. Any ideas for how to do a word search on a game page using Firefox?

WannaBe: <Helios727> I got Firefox 23.0.1, Ctrl-F bring up a Find dialog box on the bottom of the browser.

I use Chess Delux Viewer II as my board.

Aug-21-13  hms123: <WannaBe> <Ctrl-F> worked for me. Great tip. Thanks--hms

WannaBe: <Helios727> I was able to reproduce your issue/problem. Once you click on the chess board, that portion of the (java) code takes over.

And when I do Ctrl-F, it flips the board, and I do not get the 'Find box' on the bottom of the browser.

I had to refresh my page (that little circle thing on the right side of the address bar) and then I was able to bring up the 'Find box'.

WannaBe: <Helios727> One solution, is to do this:

1. Launch Firefox

2. Alt-V select Tool Bars and then Menu Bar

3. You will now see 'File', 'Edit', 'View', etc.

4. Under 'Edit' you will see 'Find', this way you don't have to use Ctrl-F
