WannaBe: In case I forgot, congrats to them Lady Bruins. =)) U. Mich (69-63) won, but the last spread I saw was -6.5, so if you took UConn w/ spread, you got very lucky, if you bet on them U. Mich, I feel bad; the O/U was 148.5

WannaBe: Currently LAD ahead of LAA in the 6th, Haren is still on the mound, I am just waiting for him to implode and give up like 8 runs...

Then again, you can never tell with him, he is one of those pitch a no-hitter and then give up 5 runs before 2nd inning kind of a player.

Go Dodgers!

tpstar: <Jimmy> Thank you very much for the nice message. =)

Remember when you started your own business? Well I just left my group and started solo practice six weeks ago, defying the odds by trying to make it on my own. So far things have been great, and my patients are thrilled that I made this major change.

Congratulations on your Philidor win. The next time someone plays 4 ... c5, consider the In-Between Move 5. Bb5+ to trade light square Bishops:

The theoretical idea is that the d5 hole is far easier for White to exploit after Black's lsb is gone; 5 ... Bd7 (5 ... Nc6? is out) 6. Bxd7+ and then retreat with 7. Ne2. Many times you route your QN to d5 and your KN to c3 with your centralized Knights dominating the board. This is very similar to the Sicilian with an early ... e5 (1. e4 c5 2. Nf3 d6 3. d4 cd 4. Nxd4 e5):

Here 5. Bb5+ Bd7 6. Bxd7+ N/Qxd7 7. Ne2 gives White a good game.

See you around. =)
