WannaBe: <chancho> Hmmm... I take it, that you can't update your Opera?
Apr-18-15  chessmoron: <WannaBe> Opera's current version is 28.0.

  chancho: I have Opera 28.

<The add on is only supported by opera 11 and 12.> that's the message I get from the link you sent me when I try to download it.

WannaBe: <chancho> I just tried it on my IE, and I see that IMDB uses flash, (maybe check and see if you have the latest flash player from Adobe?)

I did get a flash error message once the preview was over. It's possible that Opera did not render the film clip because of it?

I may have to download and try it with an Opera browser...

chancho: I downloaded Flash Player and IMDB trailers work on IE, but when I try Opera, no dice.

WannaBe: <chancho> I just installed Opera, and when I go to imdb I get all text, no picture of any kind...

Let me try a couple other ones.

WannaBe: Hey, great, none of the browser are showing imdb.com correctly. Even IE...

WannaBe: I can still see imdb.com using my home PC, which means one of the browser setting at work is screwing things up...

I added a plug-in called NoFlash, which is suppose to control/allow flash activities. I think that is what screwed it.

chancho: <WannaBe> I guess I'll have to go to IE for watching movie trailers in IMDB.

If you can find a solution to the Opera issue, let me know.

Thanks.

I also noticed that on YouTube, when I choose a video, it shows a gray area and a play button on the video screen.

I press that, and it goes black and says an error occurred.

I refresh the page, press play, and then it shows the video.

Opera stinks!

Looks like I'd have to remove that 2 Nobel Prize for Phyzics, 1 Pulitzer for Non-Fiction Historical-Drama, 2 Oscars for Best Original Screen Play Based on Actual Event (Short Film Category) and how I wiped out Magnus Carlsen 7-0 while blind fold 2-minute blitz from LinkedIn.

Apr-28-15  Pyke: Hi <WannaBe>, I think that 15. Be2 was a mistake. 15. Nc4 was better, attacking the Bishop on b6 and more importantly, covering d3 - and simultaneously allowing the Queen to cover your second rank.

But White's position was difficult already. I think White would have had to challenge the Bishop on g4 earlier, by playing Be2. But that's just a guess. I will have to analyse in more detail. Also I didn't like all the pawn moves on the Kingside.

But now, on to our second game!
