WannaBe: In case I forgot, congrats to them Lady Bruins. =)) U. Mich (69-63) won, but the last spread I saw was -6.5, so if you took UConn w/ spread, you got very lucky, if you bet on them U. Mich, I feel bad; the O/U was 148.5

WannaBe: <CIO> LOL. I remember those mems... <chancho> North by Norwest, totally agree, the audiences know that the plane scene was filmed earlier and played on a screen behind. It was still drama. Same thing with the Mt. Rushmore chase scene.

WannaBe: ¡Olé! ¡Olé! this is what I see for "¡Olé! ¡Olé!" (game of the day Mar-13-2026) I also know this issue have been around for a while, and it's not that important, in IT term, it is a level 'C', cosmetic fix. But I just wish to report it again. Can CG.com unify this ...

WannaBe: <FSR> March 11 is his birthday, and usually PoD is chosen from the birth date of the player. So unless CG.com decides to change the algorithm on how PoD is decided. We will randomly get "undesired" player(s).

WannaBe: Rube Goldberg's SF home is now historic landmark.

http://www.sfgate.com/bayarea/artic...

To enter the house, you have to light a match, boil a kettle of water, the steam will lift a single chop-stick taped to a piece of paper, the stick will then fall off, and knock over 2K dominos (which size increases as it progresses) the last piece then falls onto a mouse trap, which snaps and awaken a sleeping dog which then barks furiously notifying that someone is at the door.

May-13-15  Deus Ex Alekhina: It is awfully quiet in Technical Draw Land. Very quiet. Methinks your buddy is biding his time and girding his loins right about now.

WannaBe: <Deus Ex Alekhina> Let's head over to his forum and post some really corny/punny jokes. =)

That'll get him going.

May-13-15  technical draw: Why was < Deus> on my ignore list? You really have to be a bad dude to get on that list. Maybe it was a temporary thing. Anyway I really don't know where the loins are. Also I don't know where the groin is. When somebody in baseball said he got hit in the groin he grabs certain parts of his anatomy. I've checked there and I don't see anything that looks like a groin. Must be some kind of sports joke.
May-14-15  Deus Ex Alekhina: <You have to be a bad dude to get on that list> Judge not lest ye be judged. Actually I was never on TD's "ignore list"!! He merely deleted several of my posts.

Fusilli: I am SO FREAKING TIRED of blundering blitz games on ICC on account of my stupid optical mice! I have two of them. I have tried both. No matter. Sooner or later they act up on me. I grab a rook and mid-way through, the mouse decides the move is done, and I leave the rook up for grabs! Or I intend castle, and the mouse decide it's Kf1 instead. I have tried my way around this problem by "curving" the move, so that for castle, I pick up the king, take it off the board and come back to the board at g1, but that makes me waste precious blitz seconds. Not to mention when the mouse simply gets stuck or just gives me a hard time completing the move because it doesn't want to be moved to the square I want! Even when I don't blunder, I waste too many seconds on mouse management.

This is not all the time. It's say, once every ten moves, but that's more than enough to jeopardize countless blitz games.

AAARGHH!!!

I'm going back to the good old cord mice.
