WannaBe: So, how <DO> you configure WiFi for almost 90K people packed in/out/around a stadium for Super Bowl 50??

http://www.networkworld.com/article...

The numbers cited in the article are staggering.

<For some historical perspective, Super Bowl 47 in New Orleans in 2013 generated 1.1 TB of traffic. The following Super Bowl in MetLife Stadium saw traffic rise to 3.2 TB. A year ago, Super Bowl 49 in Phoenix saw the traffic almost double to 6 TB. The rise in bandwidth over the past few years has been remarkable. An average regular-season 49ers game generates about 2 TB of traffic, more than the Super Bowl only three years ago.

Also, the network needs to support more than just football games. The stadium is home to other events that will generate the same or more traffic than the average NFL game. For example, WWE Wrestlemania at Levi's Stadium in March generated 4.5 TB of traffic, and Taylor Swift fans produced a whopping 7.1 TB of data with half of the stadium closed off (for concert configuration).

For the upcoming Super Bowl 50, the assumption is that this game will nearly double the traffic from Super Bowl 49, with 10 TB being a reasonable benchmark. In fact, in football (gambling) vernacular, I asked Lukaszewski what he would choose if the over-under was 10 TB, and he said the over.>

  WannaBe: Greed, true story*:

Yesterday early morning, I placed a limit order ($0.13 fifteen contracts) of F Call Option for Feb 12th at $12.25. Ten minutes later the confirmation came and my order was fulfilled.

By 3:40PM Eastern Time, it went to $0.19, I placed another limit order at $0.19 to close my position and pocket a nice chunk of quick profit.

Twenty minutes later market closed and there was no taker/buyer of my contracts.

Today, F is down fifty-cents to $11.58, if I had not been greedy and offered at $0.17 it <MAY> have gone through. I would simply pocketed a little less money.

Now I have 8 more days to see if the stock can rebound.

*Name have been changed to protect the stupid.

WannaBe: Very, very volatile market, that $12.25 strike price by next Friday is still possible.

WannaBe: GPRO reported weak earning and in after hours trading, down to $9.65

GPRO 52 week high was $65.49, that's correct, not a typo, sixty-five dollars and forty-nine cents. Rough and quick math says it's about 85% drop.
