When I use (and it's getting annoying) the search kibitz feature and I type a word, I get a box with different words from past searches, but now the box does not disappear unless I right click on my mouse to make it go away. @#$%* sucks! (Access to bios will vary, depending on manufacturer) During install, partition single physical disk to two logical partitions, if two physical disks just select one. Make sure Win10 is updated with latest feature and security patches. Insert Ubuntu install disk, enter bios, select UEFI CD/DVD boot Follow instruction on screen, install Ubuntu. Voila, dual boot. =)) May-08-18    WannaBe: If after upgrade/install Ubuntu GUI version and you are stuck in a login loop and can't get to tty via CTRL+ALT+F1 try: Ubuntu grub menu, to boot to text mode, press e to edit selection on root=xxxxxxxxx line, remove quite splash replace with 3 This will boot to level 3 (text mode) May-08-18    WannaBe: USB 2.0 or 3.0 ethernet adapters are wonderful in time of trouble, onboard NIC stopped working, took the USB plugged it in and voila, on the network again, and able to download fixes/patches. May-08-18    WannaBe: After do-release-upgrade from 14.04 to 16.04, there were conflicts with network driver (Intel model), and also Nvidia + lightdm package disagreement. (No GUI, and terminal can't come up!) After a few hours all issues resolved. Sometimes I really hate Linux.
