WannaBe: Sorry for the continuing posting, but I was at the game, where R. Peete faked the knee down against Ucla. That school is nothing but cheats. See P. Carroll that 'fled' to Seattle when crap hit the fan.

WannaBe: Thank you everyone who stopped by. And much thanks to <OCF> being my fellow muppet in the balcony and Ebert & Siskle.

Until next year. The balcony is closed. =))

We agreed Oil of Olay was the worst. And chips ad were #1 and #2. =)

Well, I am not joining you in a cave to watch it...

Unless you have snacks.

WannaBe: In the continuing saga that have me intrigued, Theranos' ex-founder had some charges dropped against her, as criminal charges and court phase of this strange story begins:

Feb-13-20  mckmac: A strange tale indeed, Wannabe. Elizabeth Holmes may well be largely responsible for an elaborate con of gigantic proportions. She is certainly leading the early running for salesperson of the century.

WannaBe: In a rare first for me, my (sold) covered call option for SPCE for July was exercised this morning. Whoever bought my call month ago and exercised it today, just made a bunch of money.

WannaBe: My all time favourite piece, Rapp-So-Dy in Blue. By Jorge Jershwin.

If I remember the history of this composition correctly, this performance is absolutely correct. Tempo, speed, maybe it was written as 3/4? I don't think it was 4/4 and I definitely don't think it was 2/2

Alas, I am Bugs, and it is just a hare fast(er) than I like.

Absolutely beautiful (first chair violin) performance, and a most difficult piece to perform. Major kudos to the pianist!! My, these musicians are getting younger by the year.

I still think the L. Berstein (where he played the piano and conducted) is still the best that I have seen.

I've posted many flash mob videos before and always 'critizized the use of sheet music.

This one from Berkelee is great!!

WannaBe: L. Bernstein is the man, conducting without the score in front of him and (if you look at my previous post) have had played Rhapsody in Blue on the Piano while conducting, is great.

WannaBe: Star Trek Picard, episode 8, it is so unfortunate, that there is only 2 more for season 1. But season 2 is in progress, but with what is going on with the global situation, it is hard to tell what will happen with the series.

However, this episode is filled with old Trek, morality, individuality, the rights of species, and "False Hope", or "False Believe".

This episode truly deserve (if not win) the Hugo Award for Sci-Fi for M. Chabon, whose creative work I have enjoyed and respected.

Live Long, and Prosper, everyone, in our most "Interesting" time, as Spock would say.

WannaBe: Approximately 300 people lined up outside the grocery store down the street, at 7:30AM Saturday morning. Highly unusual.

Smart & Final 4 blocks away were a little quieter, but not much. TP and napkin aisles empty, some hand/liquid soaps left.

No chicken or pork, some ground turkey and big 20lbs of beef brisk/shank. Very little sandwich/deli meat, plenty of cheese and milk and bun/bread, no eggs what so ever.

Good thing that I've been stocking/hording stuff for the last month. =))
