WannaBe: Absolutely 'crazy' sequences... Usc throws an INT, the defensive lineman running with the ball then gets hit and fumbles the ball into and out of end zone for touchback (no TD) Next play, Usc goes from their own 20 to N'Western's 20 (60 yards).

WannaBe: Another not important thing that I noticed, as a premium member when I visit ChessGames.com Statistics Page page, I see ads. Not that a big deal. Sure CG.com have more important things to fix.

May-08-20  technical draw: <WannaBe> How did you know that I had studied just yesterday the Manhattan Eruv? It is very strange that you ask me about the Eruv on the next day after I studied it.

There could be two answers: 1: You have access to my computer since you are a computer whiz. 2. You are psychic. If so maybe we can pull a Powerball sting.

Let me know. I'm a little nervous now.

WannaBe: <TD> (Using James Cagney voice)

"Ya zee, thar this thang, called coin-zee-dence. That YuTooB be relezed on May 7th, ya zee.

Ah I sawed it and found it in'r'st'n, since I dunno nothin' about no wire in Man'hat'en.

Da only wire I know, I kiiil'd that fella. He now on the butom of Hudson."

(Pure luck, I lived in Chinatown in NY for a while, even went to Public School 2 a.k.a. P.S. 2) And I thought, dang, I wonder if <TD> knows this...

The date of the YouTube video publishing proves it.

(Or I made that video and published it, after hackin' into your computer camera and followed all your keystrokes, just to cover my tracks????????)

May-08-20  technical draw: I don't know <WannaBe>, but just in case, I'm bringing in some fellas I know from The CIA and have them make a sweep of my house for bugs, wiretaps, listening devices, cameras. etc. Plus I'm buying a new computer and getting a new internet account and joining Chessgames under a new name just to keep a eye on you.

With all things China these days you can't trust any one with three names.

Her interpretation/rendition/cover of Cohen's Hallelujah. Thumbs up.

May-15-20  technical draw: <WannaBe> Now there's a fine coincidence. In your link on Monk at the intro there is a painting by Eduard Cortes that I made a bid at auction in 2011. I bid $100. It sold for 60,000 Euros. I believe the starting bid was 40,000 Euros so my bid was just a joke. But it's an amazing coincidence. Now I'm sure you are already CIA.

WannaBe: So... After almost 3 years of no (real) competitive chess games, I got back onto GameKnot and now have 3 games going.

2 vs same opponent as W/B (e4, e4-c5) and one game as white. (e4-e5-Nf3)

Lets see how fast I can lose. =)))

Jun-10-20  technical draw: <WannaBe> On your Glenn Miller video I have looked at it forward and backwards. I put on a Columbo raincoat and the theme from Mission Impossible, I checked clothes, ties, glasses, background, and shoes. I cannot detect any bloopers. So I give up. I lose my PI license but I wasn't getting paid anyway. So spill the beans, what's wrong?

chancho: Big Band Music supposedly began in 1921, had its heyday in the 40's, and ended in the early 50's.

Is that correct?

Jun-10-20  technical draw: OK, now I can't unsee it. I was looking at the musicians and a very young Milton Berle. Tragic what happened to Glenn Miller and his band.

  WannaBe: "Personal log"...

Finished reading "Fair Warning", "Deadliest Enemy" (which was publish a few years ago, but recently hit the headlines again...)

Have started "The Splendid and the Vile", currently on page 110; the latest E. Larsen book, and it is quite a read. His writing style flows and the history background and the contents are right up my alley of interest. (Have read all of his previous books, maybe except one)

WannaBe: <morfishine> Looks like both Ping and tracert are fine. It goes thru spectrum.com and then rr.com (Roadrunner) before reaching zayo.com and above.net

What <IS> weird, is (and if I remember this correctly) CG.com used to be hosted by 2020 technology. At the very bottom of the web pages, it used to show 2020 Technology. Not sure how many members here remember that far back.

Now, if this changed, and above.net is the new host, and they have a 'bad' reputation, your internet service can be blocking the site/host.

I'll need to ask <Annie K.> on changes behind the curtain, see if the Wizard did something that causes this.

WannaBe: Now, for anyone who is wondering why ping/tracert goes through but not web page...

ping is like a phone call it rings.

tracert is like a mail, it reaches the destination after many hops through each post office.

Opening a web page is kinda like getting on an aeroplane and fly there, only to be denied by not having the proper visa!!

Over-simplification, but hey, at $0.00 waddayacomplainingabout?!?! =))
