WannaBe: Absolutely 'crazy' sequences... Usc throws an INT, the defensive lineman running with the ball then gets hit and fumbles the ball into and out of end zone for touchback (no TD) Next play, Usc goes from their own 20 to N'Western's 20 (60 yards).

WannaBe: Another not important thing that I noticed, as a premium member when I visit ChessGames.com Statistics Page page, I see ads. Not that a big deal. Sure CG.com have more important things to fix.

Jul-02-20  jith1207: I remember it used to be 2020 technologies but also remember seeing this current change recently (might also have noticed this few months back when UK users didn't have any problem but I'm not sure exactly).

I would've transferred $0.00 if I have the money, I hope you won't mind.

WannaBe: More on the come back of Drive-in Movies:

Recently Ontario (CA, not that other CA, confusing, aye?) Airport recently announced Friday Night Drive-in free, too!! Can't beat that.

https://ktla.com/news/local-news/on...

Now Wal-Mart plans to turn their parking lots into Drive-ins!

Jul-04-20  technical draw: <WannaBe> A little personal question if you don't mind. In what city exactly do you live in California. Don't worry I'm not going to send hitmen or CIA types it's just that I may be going to California soon and would like to know what places to avoid.

WannaBe: Currently, I live in Chino, right on the edge of San Bernardino County and Los Angeles County. People here say it was named after the Chinese that was here, some (wiki) say Chino is named after the Spanish land owner that had curly hair. (Apparently chino in Spanish can also mean curly hair?)

Ontario International Airport is about 15 min away. LAX is maybe about 50(?) min away depending on traffic. John Wayne is almost about the same traveling time.

<MannBee> I had no idea China was in San Bernardino County!!

This is one of the benefits of cg.com. You learn many new and interesting facts.

WannaBe: <JFQ> No, China is in Canada, as Ontario International is only 15 min away.

<MannBee> Ok thank you. I am taking notes. When I was young, I didn't have time to go the liberry, so my brain compartment doesn't have many facts in it. Especially geometry facts. Who can keep track of so many different places, especially since they keep moving around.

Jul-05-20  technical draw: <WannaBe> I never heard of chino having anything to do with curly hair. To me it means a Chinese male. (plus other Chinese nouns that are masculine) carro Chino, (Chinese car). The Chinese flu would be feminine: Influenza China.
Jul-05-20  jith1207: Corona would be your typical Chinese teenage spoiled brat.

WannaBe: <technical draw> Scroll down just a bit, and see the Etymology section:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chino...

Jul-06-20  technical draw: Very interesting link <WannaBe> However I must disagree with the Etymology of the word "Chino". There are no modern derivations or links as being curly haired. And from whence did these curly haired individuals come from?

<TOUCHDOWN!> I can help on this one. Curly came from The Three Stooges.

WannaBe: Ah, yes, introduce fire to the masses, instant communication for the world, freedom to the masses. Hey, what can go wrong? Really...

https://www.yahoo.com/news/hackers-...

Now we got "Karens" on video, silly cats and dogs and hamsters, useless information on Kardashians, and Johnny Depp's divorce and latest bikini trend!!

Hoo-Ray!! Thanks to the mass media, we no longer pay/learn the real important events going on around the world and in our countries. But what is going on after the Royal Couple moved to Los Angeles?

Be afraid, be very afraid, my friends.

Aug-06-20  savage sanctuary: Used to date a girl from Guatemala. Her email included the word "colocha" (curly hair) My mom, from higher up the continent, would call me chino. Which also means curly. I guess different parts of Hispanoamérica have a word for curly.

WannaBe: So.... People have asked me, "Man, just how many future ex-wives you have??"

Well, here are all my future ex-wives, in one video.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XID...

And they are all in Canada, apparently...

Aug-06-20  technical draw: <diceman> <Chinotown?> I saw that movie. It won the Oscar for best picture. But there were very few chinos in the movie.
Aug-06-20  technical draw: <WannaBe> That was a great choir. The only thing that could have improved it was if they had called me for an accordion solo.
Aug-07-20  thegoodanarchist: Mr <WannaBeeKeeper> I forgot to tell you, I am in Reno since yesterday. Leaving Sunday morning for Crater Lake, Oregon.

The craps tables have been good for me, praise god. I won a whopping $7 yesterday. Today was a little better. Took ‘em for just around $900.

Any thoughts come to your sharp mind on the next bet? IIRC, you’re a roulette man-is that right?

Aug-07-20  thegoodanarchist: <TD> that reminds me. The New Testament book of Acts prophesied about ride sharing, when it said the earliest Christians were all in one Accord.

WannaBe: <thegoodanarchist> I am a pai-gow man, usually. Do play BJ, and craps. Bets? Not too much to offer as opinion.

Love sports book and parlay bets, now that baseball is back, I do run line and sometimes just for fun reverse run line. And hope to hit that +180 on $5 ticket.
