WannaBe: <CIO> LOL. I remember those mems... <chancho> North by Norwest, totally agree, the audiences know that the plane scene was filmed earlier and played on a screen behind. It was still drama. Same thing with the Mt. Rushmore chase scene.

WannaBe: #8 vs #9 are suppose to be close games, but SLU just blew out UGA... Don't know how SLU qualifies as "Atlantic-10" conference, but along with VCU are definitely putting out notices to the tournament.

WannaBe: ¡Olé! ¡Olé! this is what I see for "¡Olé! ¡Olé!" (game of the day Mar-13-2026) I also know this issue have been around for a while, and it's not that important, in IT term, it is a level 'C', cosmetic fix. But I just wish to report it again. Can CG.com unify this ...

WannaBe: You made a comment on Skyline chili on another forum, about a month ago. Today I came across this YT video: https://iq-dist-2.com/s/page/2y888-... My convenient/easy go to is Hormel (BEANLESS!!), I do Chili Mac or use them for Chili Omelets

WannaBe: <FSR> March 11 is his birthday, and usually PoD is chosen from the birth date of the player. So unless CG.com decides to change the algorithm on how PoD is decided. We will randomly get "undesired" player(s).

  jessicafischerqueen:

<MannBee> very good call!

Like many Canadians I have been eating <poutine> every chance I get.

Interestingly, this Quebec-based delicacy of frenched fries with cheese curd and cow gravy is called "poo teen" in Western Canada.

This has let to an unfortunate rumor that Western Canadian teenagers are consuming poo!

Luckily, nothing could be further from the truth. In Western Canada we have many wooden outhouses in the back 40 that are dedicated to handling poo "the traditional way."

May-10-22  technical draw: <jfq> <cow gravy is called "poo teen" in Western Canada.>

That's probably because they are pro Russian.

May-10-22  technical draw: To clarify "pooteen" is the Spanish pronunciation of Russia's Putin.

<TD> very good translating, as usual.

Interestingly, in Spanish the word "puig" means absolutely nothing!

May-12-22  technical draw: <jfq> <Interestingly, in Spanish the word "puig" means absolutely nothing!>

Very true. That's because "puig" is not a Spanish word but a Catalan word. Catalan is spoken in Cataluña, a region in Spain. Barcelona is in Cataluña. I've been there. The language sounds funny. Actually puig is pronounced like "push". Strange language.

<TD>, <MannBee>

Fascinating...

In Spanish "plush animal" is translated as "pluig animal."

This science documentary should help explain:

May-13-22  technical draw: Here's a question for you <WannaBe>:

The crypto currency market had a value of $2.9 trillion in November 2021. Today it has a value of $1.2 trillion. Which means it has lost $1.7 trillion of its value. Question: Where did that $1.7 trillion go?

WannaBe: Ah, the "Where do you see yourself in 10 years question"... Quaint, old-school interview question, which I have been asked many times.

For y'all young'ngs, the answer would something like "VP of Sales" (Or whatever department you are applying for, design, engineering, finance, whatever)

I always gave the "Correct" answer: Retired, or more boldly, "Sitting in your office"

🤣😂🤣😂
