Jul-06-22  technical draw: <WannaBe> Saw your license plate photo. I tried to guess the meaning. If it's not obscene can you explain it?

WannaBe: Another friend of mine said, since the car is a Tesla, XOXOOIL means they love oil enough to drive an electric car and want to preserve oil.
Jul-07-22  diceman: <technical draw: <WannaBe> Saw your license plate photo. I tried to guess the meaning.>

That day, when you realize, vanity plates are above your paygrade.

Jul-07-22  diceman: I didn't know that was a Tesla.

The phrase <Big Oil> suggests they hate oil.

So Id say they love the fact they don't need oil.

Jul-07-22  technical draw: Yankee Judge Aaron hits two grand slam home runs in two consecutive innings. That's impressive but not as impressive as Fernando Tatis hitting two grand slams in the SAME inning.

Jul-07-22  diceman: <technical draw: Yankee Judge Aaron hits two grand slam home runs in two consecutive innings. That's impressive but not as impressive as Fernando Tatis hitting two grand slams in the SAME inning.>

Notice the guys who got on base get no credit.

Jul-07-22  technical draw: <diceman> <Notice the guys who got on base get no credit.>

You're right! I never thought of that. In Tatis' two grand slams three men had to get on base in the same inning. I think I'll try to find that game and see how it went down.

Jul-07-22  technical draw: Here's Tatis' historic two home runs. No mention of the guys on base:

Jul-07-22  diceman: <technical draw: <diceman> <Notice the guys who got on base get no credit.>

You're right!>

Here's another, the so called <Pitcher's Duel>.

Team A 1-0, top half first inning.
Team B 1-1, bottom half first inning.

No more scoring until the Bottom of the ninth.

Home Run!!!!
Team B wins 1-2!

The guy who scored in the first inning is the invisible man!

We only value the last thing that happened.

WannaBe: Star Trek Strange New World, Episode 10. Romulans are mentioned.

"No one have ever seen them before".

Now, going back to Capt Kirk days when the crew first saw Romulans, (distant cousin to Vulcans) and the crew all (turned) looked at Spock.

I wonder how this episode will develope.

WannaBe: "And he doesn't like to lose" LOL...

But on an off-shoot comment, if <THE> Kirk, had rigged the kobiyashi maru simulation, (and got the rank of Capt), wouldn't have Pike known about it??

WannaBe: OMG, the modern day producers and directors replicated the "Romulan/Vulcan/Spock" scene.

I am laughing my ass off (Oh, LMFAO). Gotta talk the the 'new' language.
