Kibitzer's Corner
Aug-04-09  areknames: The player of the day succumbs to the future World Champion. The final combination is definitely cute, the knight on g6 is untouchable. Could this have been a simul?
Aug-04-09  nuwanda:
<areknames:...the knight on g6 is untouchable...>

On the other side, due to the various threats of white, it must be taken. the funniest is 24...Nd7 25.Qg7+ Nxg7 26.Nh6# or 25...Qxg7 26.Nfe7#

with 24...fg 25.hg Rf7 black could go on for a while, but the position is absolutely hopeless

...

Aug-04-09  openingspecialist: Could this possibly be a puzzle of the day?
Aug-04-09  tommy boy: <areknames> just Alekhine's view
Aug-04-12  TheTamale: Very neat ending position. Alekhine must have smiled when he saw the Pirc defense, a.k.a. "Black to play and lose."
Sep-28-15  TheFocus: From a simultaneous exhibition in La Plata, Argentina at the Club La Plata on October 20, 1926.

Alekhine played against 40 opponents but the results are not known.
