May-11-05  RookFile: Maybe 25... Nxe3 is the move overlooked?
May-11-05  aw1988: Yes, looks like it (why won't chessgames allow me to post a simple yes!!!).
May-11-05  Boomie: 25...Rxf2 is also pretty gruesome. 25. Rxf2 Qxe3+ 26. Kc2 Qxf2+ and the pawns come tumbling down.
May-12-05  sneaky pete: <aw1988> It should be: Yes, sir.
Aug-07-06  lopium: Qe4, Ke2 and Qxe3 mate in a beautiful way.
Apr-20-10  jackpawn: Alekhine was obviously a very great player, but in playing through this game I couldn't help but be reminded of Fischer's quote that if you have seen one Alekhine game you have seen them all. Many of his wins look very similar.
Apr-20-10  BobCrisp: < Fischer's quote that if you have seen one Alekhine game you have seen them all.>

Of all the dumb things Fischer said, this was most probably the dumbest.

Apr-04-16  SimplicityRichard: Wow! So many ways of mating White. Incredible!#
Apr-26-22  Alekchess: Only one way to mate and that is 25)----Qe4+
26) Ke2---Q×e3#

kingscrusher: I am not sure Fischer could have played this particular game any more accurately:

https://lichess.org/53aobcL8#49

It seems Alekhine's accuracy from modern engine perspective is 99% with only 8 average centipawn loss.
