Kibitzer's Corner
Mar-16-06  zev22407: A tough fight.
All guys with Fritz or other chess program did Saidy miss a win in this game?
Mar-16-06  RookFile: I think Fischer defended really well in this game.
May-16-10  wrap99: Was the mistake by White the failure to win the exchange with 38.Nd6+ ?
May-22-10  catfriend: <wrap99> 38.Nd6+? cxd6 39.Bxd8 (Rxb2 Bxa5; c7 Bxc7) Rc2 40.c7 Kd7, and White has nothing special.

What Dr.Saidy missed was 38.Nxc7+ Bxc7 39.Rxc7 or Bxc7, both troublesome for Black.

May-23-10  wrap99: Thanks, catfriend.
Feb-25-11  M.D. Wilson: Great endgame by Fischer.
