Honza Cervenka: 39...axb3 is a horrible blunder.
Feb-21-03  drunknight II: larsen seems so passive in this game, why not: 29...Qg3? it seems that Larsen is not sure whether to attack or defend. he is downin material much of the game he should be committed to attacking.
Feb-21-03  Spitecheck: My guess..if 29. ...Qg3 30. Qxd4+ (than Larsen says a four letter word in Danish) Rxd4 31. fxg3.
Aug-26-10  Nimzonick: Hmm, Larsen must've been in big time trouble on move 39; that's the only thing I can come up with.

Not 29...Qg3 30.Qxd4+ wins a piece. I must say that Karpov's sacrifice took me by surprise.
