What's so funny in it?

  Teyss: Hilarious.

3...Bb4 is uncommon: 3...d5 is more frequent. Only one other game with 6.Qxg7, where White won: Bobotsov vs G Tsouros, 1972.

On 6...Ng6, SF recommends 7.d4 to protect e5 (+2.4 at 33 ply): after e.g. 7...Bf8 8.Qf6 Be7 9.Qf3, White has a good game.

Keene maybe went for 7.Ne4?! to achieve a draw in a simul against this relatively strong opponent, in order to focus on other boards. Here if 7...Bf8 8.Qf6 Be7 9.Qf3 Nxe5: Black has regained the Pawn and can develop easily (=0.0 at 36 ply).

Of course 10.Qxh8 is a prank: 10.Nf6+ followed by Ng8+ also leads to perpetual unless Black wants to commit seppuku with Rxg8. Naturally in that case the move order doesn't matter: Qxh8 on any move after the 7th also draws.

Still laughing about it.
