samvega: Didn't comprehend most of the moves of this game.

7..e3 looks like a good gambit.
Why 12..Kf8?
14.e4!
Why not 18..Qxh4+?
Why 18..Nf8?
33.Bf8!

IMlday: I was staying with the Suttles during this event. The whole opening is prepared, with Black worse. Miles just walked into it blindly.

IMlday: The fantastic game is Seirawan-Suttles from the last round, a day later.

chessgames.com: We chose that game for the Game of the Day: Seirawan vs Suttles, 1981.
Jul-25-04  atripodi: How exactly did Suttles go about doing opening preparation? Isn't it extremely difficult to determine what your opponent is going to play beforehand with non-forcing moves like g3, d3, and a3? Did he decide on what to play against certain formations?
Mar-30-06  FrancisGrasso: Suspicious...Was Miles imbibing
here? Keene?
Apr-16-07  PolishPentium: Why not 21...BxQ? White doesn't get that much in return, does he?
Apr-16-07  PolishPentium: Oh, and 35 Bc5 is NOT a check!
Apr-16-07  tbentley: <PolishPentium>21...Bxd3 22. Nxe8+ and then white takes the queen with material advantage.
Jun-20-12  Garech: Fantastic game; Suttles is one of a kind.

30.Qa2+! mates in seven.
