Kibitzer's Corner
Mar-22-07  Autoreparaturwerkbau: Why is it so simple when Tal plays?
Aug-05-07  HannibalSchlecter: I know, his opponents seem to be saying "alright, I'll take you to the endgame where you can't hurt me." And Tal seems to reply "Ok, I'll kick your ass there too!"
Sep-15-08  pom nasayao: 25. Rxa5 makes black a pawn down, and the allows the unimpeded pawn roll in the b-file.
May-11-09  colourofcandor: why 9 nd7 and not bXf5?

  dnash007: Bxf5 is bad. The d4 knight will be unchallenged at its greatest Najdorf square. Es. 9.Bxf5, 10.exf5 nc6 11.c3 (keeps black Knight at bay) Be7 12.Bd3 0-0 13.Qh5! h6!? 14.f6!! Bxf6 15.Qf5 (Mate threat) g6 16.Qxf6 because of Nd5, we'll win a piece.
Apr-28-17  RKnight: What was the point of 17...b4? It plays into Tal's plan. Better 17...Rc8 or develop the B.
Nov-28-18  jonjoseph: 19 Nc6 seemed a bit pointless at first but with the Queen swop the Knight closed the door on the black bishop as if Tal had planned all the rest beforehand .Tal often seemed to arrange the end games in small areas of the board . Sometimes it would be a narrow strip down one side of the board .
